Let's go back to back to where I met the love of my life.
My day was going great and I was driving home but then my phone rang. It was my mom. It was supposed to be just a normal day for me. "Hey Mom!" I answered
"Anak." she answered and I can tell she was sobbing
"Mom, what happened?"
"It's your Dad, anak."
"What about Dad?"
"We have been arguing about this situation." she started "he said he wants you to come back here in Germany because he wants to tell you something"
"What is't Mom? " there's so many questions I want to ask Mom but I know she can't answer.
"Just come here Anak, he'll explain it to you." she said
"I will Mom. I love you!"
"I love you too Edward" she hung up.
Right after she hang up, I turned right and I stop right in front of a fruitcake place, yes, a fruitcake place. So then I got off of my car and entered the door. Just then, I saw this woman with a smile on her face and she greeted "Good Evening Sir! Welcome to Jonah's Fruit Cake! Table for how many, Sir?"
"Table for one only." I answered
"Okay sir, follow me this way." she started walking where all the tables with two chair are.
I'm surprised there was a lot of people eating inside! I thought this kind of business would not work out but it turned out it does. I underestimated the worth of this store.
"Here sir, sorry we don't have a table for one."
"You're good. No worries!"
"Okay Sir, here's the menu. Just call any of the waitress if you're ready to order." she said
"I will" after that she left. I looked for their specialty and it was their "Organic Fruitcake" , I skimmed over their menu and there was nothing I liked except the waitre---- no no no their Organic Fruitcake.
"Miss!" I waved my hand to her "I'm ready to order"
"Yes sir, what can I get for you?" she asked
"Can I get a piece of your guys' Organic Fruit Cake?"
"Sure Sir! What else can I get for you? "
"That's it. Thank you!" I said
"Okay. I'll get back to you in 10 mins."

"Here's your order sir!" she gave me my order and wiped my tears away. Just can't hold my tears back, it hurts. It's my dad.
"Thank you!" I said
"Sir, are you okay?" she sat down on the chair in front of me. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I looked at her and damn I realize how beautiful she is. God, is this love at first sight? Edward John Barber, what are you thinking?!
"Sir, you wouldn't be crying for no reason." she looked at me and answered.
After that I told her what happened and she obviously gave me "words of wisdom" . She instantly made me feel better. How can a stranger get my heart that fast?
