You knew that you and Nick were falling apart. You weren't as happy as you used to be. But you always thought that it could be fixed, that you chould be as in love as you were before.
Until one night you caught him with another women. Your heart shattered into pieces. Yet you didnt understand why you let it pass. You forgived him without him even knowing he was caught. You had faith in the both of you. And you were willing to sacrifice a part of your heart to have him.
Until enough was enough. This was the third time you've caught him with another woman. And you just couldn't take the infidelity.
"W-wait, Y/n let me explain" Nick made a desperate attempt to put his clothes back on. The random girl frozen in her spot on the bed.
"Sure you can, Nick" You sniffed, yet tears didnt dare fall from your eyes. You were prepared.
"I love you, please" He shouted while grabbing at your wrist.
"Don't" You say firmly, pushing his hand away. In the corner of your eye, you could see the girl grabbing her things and running out of the room with fear in her eyes. You didnt blame her though, she probably didnt even know.
"I have loved you for years. I've given up everything just to be with you, to see you happy. And this is how you thank me? How dare you make me love you only for you to break my heart" you were so angry that you couldn't even look him in the eyes .
"L-lets get married. I'll buy a ring a-nd we can be happy. Be my wife, please." He says desperately, running his hands through his hair looking everywhere but you.
"No, Nick. I will not marry you. Please dont contact me" These were your final words while leaving the house. His shouts only caused you pain. But you had to leave quickly. Becaus you knew if you stayed a little longer, you would forgive him and accept his proposal.
