Chapter 13

I woke up surrounded by comfort and warmth I didn't want to move in this little space I was happy. i looked up and saw Theo's sleeping face when he was asleep he looked even more beautiful his dark locks framing his handsome face his slightly parted lips. I moved a tiny amount so I had one of my hands free. I caressed his jaw slowly Theo moved his face into my hand more. I smiled he was just so cute like a little kitten pawing it's owner so it can be stroked some more. I felt a small raised scar near his ear that was normally covered by his hair it was about the length on my little finger (5 cm I have small hands) I wonder what it was from as I stroked the raised skin I started to think about my own scars my emotional ones the neglect of love from my mother and the months of my father never being at home and then the realisation that he was never coming home after he had left my mother. I knew she was hurting but so was I. I had lost the only person who had ever loved me properly loved ME. But I guess my father didn't love me or he would have asked me to go with him. I would have probably refused I thought my mother needed me would stay strong for me but still it would have been nice to have been asked to been given a choice. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realise Theo  was awake until a groggy voice said

"This is how I want to wake up every morning with you in my arms y/n" I smiled softly at him and moved my hand so I was playing with his soft hair.
"You ok last night was kind of heavy" Theo told me as he took and section of my hair and started braid it.

"It's ok you helped I feel lighter after talking about it. You comforted me even thought I blamed your mother that wasn't fair I'm sorry." I told him not looking into his eyes. Theo griped my chin gently

"Look at me y/n it's ok y/n I get it I really do" he said then moved back to my hair.

"Theo how did you get that scar by your ear?" I asked him as soon as I mentioned the scar his hand stilled but continued after a couple of seconds.

"My mother had a boyfriend right after Mitch left, Joe, he liked to beat her and throw plates he threw one at me once and it sliced my cheek I was about 6 it was then that mum decided to leave him so we did." Theo said kissing my frown lines away as I frown at his story.

"That must of been hard." I told him.

"Don't pout gorgeous you deserve to smile" he said kissing my left side of my lips.

"I'm not pointing" I replied

"Yes you are" Theo retorted kissing the right side of my lips.

"No I'm no-" I started to argue when Theo kissed my lips I gasped in shock as Theo deppened the kiss. My head was screaming that this was wrong however my body was not listening as I started to kiss back hungrily my fingers gripped his hair as he let out a groan as the kiss got more urgent I could feel from the end of my hair to the tips of my toes it's like my hole body was glowing. Theo hand were suddenly on my lower back pushing me closer to him. He suddenly pulled away when he herd footsteps coming to my room. It was good timing to I almost ran out of air. He pressed his finger to my slightly bruised lips. I gave his finger a quick kissed he turned his face from the door back to me and gave me sweet smile which I returned. There sounded a nock from my door.

"Um y/n can I come in?" I herd Amber ask from the other side of my door my eyes went wide I sat up from lying on my side on the bed Theo scowled at me and went to pull me down again I swatted his hands away playfully and started to drag him to my closet.

"You can't be in here" I whisper to him
" just a second" I replied to Amber as I stared to stuff Theo in the closet.

"Why not I live here?" Theo grumbled as he wasn't going willing.

"Not I'm my room you don't." I told him shutting the door of his cute annoyed face. I rushed to the door and opened it
"Sup?" I asked them mentely face palm I hadn't said sup since I was like 12. Amber confused face told me she thought it weird too.

"I just wanted to thank you for trying to make Theo not see his dad and then what you said to Mitch yesterday even though you father thinks you shouldn't have been that reckless and I agree but any way thank you." She told me bowing slightly.

"It no problem but just so you know you shouldn't have let Mitch enter the house" I told her stepping out of the room so Theo wouldn't hear I don't know if you called him as you were so quick to say you didn't or you have in the past but Theo is an amazing person and son and if you allow Mitch's negativity back in his life I will never forgive you do you understand me." I told her not caring if she thought I was reckless.

"I would never let anything happen to my son. " Amber replied looking at me shocked I remember back to what Theo told me about the plate

"Yet you let that horrible man who was going take Theo away into the house. That doesn't matter" I said shaking my head slightly
"Do I make clear?" I asked again. Amber nodded I smiled a sweet smile at her "perfect now if you don't mind me I need to get ready for school" I told her re-entering my bedroom.
