Chapter 18

I looked at my self in my floor length mirror doubting myself. My dress was a dark red colour it had spaghetti straps that were thinner then my black bra straps not that I really cared. It fell to my mid thigh and had a skater skirt. It had a little grey embroidered rose on the left side of the hem. It was the only dress I could wear the other two dress didn't give me good memories the wedding and my mother's funeral. I grabbed my pair of black wedges heels I frowned at my bandage on my temple. Amber might make a fuss but then again it also might work well for her plan. Which was to obviously try and make my dad come home. While I didn't really care what happened I really wish she didn't involve me with it. I tried to style my hair so the bandage was covered but unless I wore a beanie it would be on full display. I unlocked my door and saw Theo appear from his down the hall in a nice suit with a grey tie. He walked over to me and kissed my hand

"Look at that baby girl we match" he said smirking.

"Please stop calling me that Theo" I pleaded with him as my blush started to rise.

"Why does it turn you on as much as seeing you squirm turns me on" he whispered his breath hitting my ear as he bent down. I didn't say anything just walked away down to the stairs.

"Oh sweetheart what happen to you pretty face?" Amber squealed rushing over to me reaching out to my bandage I quickly stepped back and felt Theo chest.

"It hurts when it's touched and it's nothing I just fell down." I told her Amber looked worriedly at me not glaciated at her son yet. But she did and I could tell she was shocked by the black eye and gash on his cheek.

"Theo what happened?" Amber asked.

"Nothing mum I just had a little scuffle with another guy during gym don't worry about it me and him are fine it's more superficial then anything else" he told her grabbing his keys as he unlocked the front door. I grabbed my keys and a black clutch and followed Theo out of the door hearing Amber follow me a couple seconds later.

*time skip to the restaurant*

I knew this restaurant it was one my father frequently visited with various clients even I had been sometimes with him to entertain the children of clients. The food always looked delicious here however because I was out with my father it meant I had to act like a lady so I only got to taste their incredible salads. But tonight I was going to get to indulge it some hand crafted stunning pasta or some thin crust authentic Italian pizza. I closed my eyes just imagine the taste.

"Y/n I would stop making that face or I might just take you here and now." Theo whispered in my ear my eyes shot open. I looked at him until I herd Amber state her name quite loudly well her new last name anyway. I rolled my eyes. As a man in a simple suite showed us to a table across the room from my father. Amber was staring at him trying to make him look this way as I looked at the menu imagine all the food I could order. Theo just observed everyone around us.
"Hey y/n have you been here before?" Theo asked me in a hushed tone i didn't look at him I just nodded
"Ok so what's good?" He questioned me

"I don't know father always ordered the salad for me after all eating anything else wouldn't be lady like." I told him keeping my e/c eye trained of the posh Italian names of the dished as Theo's grey eyes bore into the side of my head but I refused to look at him. Anyway the menu was way more interesting

"Hello I'll be your waiter today what can I get you to drink" said the young but cute waiter serving us.

"A bottle of rose and a large glass" Amber said still staring down my father

"Just a glass of still water please" I told the waiter giving him a smile. Theo frowned at this

" Orange soda" he told the waiter giving him such a cold gaze. Theo turned his eyes back to me I placed the menu down
"Why did you smile to him" Theo asked me as his fist was clenched on the table. I gave him a confused look.

"Because I'm a decent human being" I told him defencifly why was he accusing me.

"You didn't have to smile at him he doesn't deserve to see it." Theo mumbled but I still herd him

"Well what about you. You didn't need to give him that icy glare he didn't do anything wrong ok. I smiled at him because I'm nice I don't like him I don't even fucking know him Theo." I told him placing my chin on the hands looking across the restaurant trying to see who my father was meeting I felt Theo place a hand on my thigh and started to rub some small circles on it

"Sorry it's just sometimes I get incredibly jealous and your beautiful it wouldn't surprise me if that waiter fell in love with you the moment he saw you I know I did" he whispered in my ear keeping a close gaze on Amber who was completely oblivious to anybody who wasn't my father.  I felt my cheeks get hot again did Theo just say he loved me he was joking right. The waiter came back and gave us our drinks but I ignored him as I felt Theo hand tighten on my thigh and I was straining my eyes trying to figure out who my father was meeting. Amber poured herself a late glass of rose wine. The man who my father was talker to finally mover his head so I could see it. I sat up straight like I had been shocked. Even Amber turned to look at me.

"Y/n what're wrong" I ignored her and started scanning the rest of the restaurant if Mr Nakamura was here that meant that his son Taro was here.

"Well well well if it the stunning y/n I never thought I would every see you again princess." Said a cool voice from behind me the voice that has been in my nightmares.

"Hello Taro".
