The Vampire and The Werewolf

Chapter 5

Freddy's POV

I was at my locker when someone turned me around and punched me in the stomach. It was Justin. He still bullies me and Summer.

"Stupid vampire".

He made a stake with his hand and pretended to stab me in the heart. They left laughing. I rolled my eyes and went to grab my stuff off the floor. Zack saw me and helped me. We got up and he gave me my books.

"Thanks".

"Can I ask you something"?

"Sure".

"What happened between you and Asher yesterday"?

I looked down.

"I don't wanna talk about it".

"If he did something to you, I'll kick his human-".

"Zack! It's fine. He was just trying to flirt with me".

"Are you sure"?

"Yeah".

"Okay, you ready to go to class".

"I just need to close my locker".

He nodded and walked ahead. I sighed and closed my locker. I saw Asher and kicked me in the stomach. I fell to the floor. He got out a stake and stabbed me in the leg. I screamed in agony.

"Freddy"!

Zack was running back as a werewolf. Asher stood on top of me and held out a clove of garlic. I started being afraid. Zack was about to attack Asher.

"ZACK STOP", I screamed in fear.

He skidded to a stop. I started having a panic attack. If that thing even touches me, I'm dead.

Zack's POV

"If you attack me, then I'll drop this garlic on Freddy and he'll die. I learned in monster hunting, that's one of the ways that can kill a vampire and a stake can injure it and kill it. So, if you walk away now, I won't do it. But if you don't, I'll drop it".

I growled. This is so messed up. I started getting ready to charge at him.

"Zack".

I looked down at Freddy.

"Please", he whimpered.

I looked back up Asher growling. I backed away.

"Good choice".

Freddy's POV

I tripped him making him fall. Zack ate the garlic before it could hit me. He turned back into a human and spit it out. He helped me up. Asher got up. I got the stake out and Zack broke it.

"This isn't over".

He left. Zack was about to go after him but I stopped him.

"It's not worth it".

"Are you okay"?

"Yeah, my leg is just in a lot of pain, it'll heal in an hour".

"You want a piggy back ride", he asked smiling.

I laughed and got on his back. He carried me to Mr. Finn's class. I wonder if it's possible for a werewolf and a vampire to be together. Looks like we'll never know.
