Freddy's POV

After school, Tomika, Summer, and I hurried over to Zack's house.

"Are you sure it's supposed to be night, he looked pale this morning," I asked Summer.

"The book said he would turn at night."

We went inside and the house was a mess.

"Yeah, totally night," Tomika said sarcastically.

"Zack!"

We looked around calling his name. I went into the kitchen and saw him in wolf form. He turned around growling.

"Zack?"

He tackled me and tried to bite me.

"Zack! Get off me!"

Tomika transformed into wolf form and tackled him off me. Summer helped me up. Zack threw Tomika off him and ran towards us. I moved Summer out of the way in time making Zack crash into the living room. He quickly stood up.

"Summer, get Tomika out of here!"

Summer ran to Tomika while I tackled Zack.

"Zack stop," I yelled pinning him down.

He threw me into the wall. He grabbed my neck and lifted me. I hit his arms but he wouldn't let go.

"Zack," I choked out.

Then, his eyes widened and he dropped me making me grab my neck gasping for air.

"Freddy, I'm so sorry."

"It's okay."

"No it's not! He almost killed Tomika," Summer yelled.

"Summer-."

"He needs to get his shit together before he gets us all killed!"

Summer left with Tomika.

"This is all my fault."

"Freddy-."

"If I never bit you then this wouldn't be happening."

He looked down.

"Freddy, if this happens again, I don't wanna hurt you."

"You're not, we just have to learn to control it-."

"No. I do. And I need to do it alone."

"Zack-."

"Summer is right. If this gets out of control I could hurt you guys or worse kill you guys."

He wiped my tears away.

"We just need a break."

I looked down sobbing. He got up and went to the kitchen. He came back with a napkin. He held it out to me.

"A napkin isn't going to fix my broken heart," I said standing up.

I left slamming the door.
