I walk in and Milo follows quickly behind, Jason and my master don't notice at first. I walk up and tap Jason on the shoulder. "Milo would like to speak to you sir, if it's not too much trouble."

"Yes of course, lets go sit in the car for a bit of privacy Milo." Jason says calmly.

"Sir, I want Apollo to be there." Milo asks timidly.

"That's fine. I'm glad you two are getting along well."

I sit down next to my master on the floor on the opposite side of the kitchen. I realise quickly Milo is very upset about something. Jason will understand though he always does. He was even okay that I bit him when I first met him.

"Sir, I miss my home." Milo said quietly.

"Your free to go anytime, you know that Milo." Jason said confused. He bends down to Milos height and holds his arms. "Why would you think otherwise?"

"I don't, it's that I can't go home because of what it was like but I miss home because that's all I've ever known." Milo started to cry hard. "I love you I just want my parents but they don't want me."

Jason holds him tight. "I love you too." Milo starts crying uncontrollably. Jason sits down and pulls him onto his lap.

I get an idea. I run up the stairs and go into the bedroom. I start rummaging through my toy box and finally I find it down the bottom. A thick fluffy black blanket.

I drag it down stairs and drop it on top of Milo. He looks startled at first but he calms down a little bit. I lie down on top of it. "Sir gave me this when I moved in. It helped me feel safe at night. You can have it." I smile and he manages a small smile back.

"Thank you." His voice was jumpy and it broke.

"Do you have a stutter too?" I asked inquisitively.

"Sir taught me how to use more than basic English, I'm still getting used to it." Milo slowly stumbled through. I felt a lot of sympathy for him in this and hugged him hard.

"Milo was pretty much left to his own devices as a kid, so never spoke much, I'm sure you understand Apollo." Jason petted me as he said this. I understood fully.

It was nice being cuddled up with both of them. Milo seemed more relaxed now and a lot happier for it.

Milo was obviously a quick learner, it had been five years and Sir was still teaching me to speak. It made me feel like I wasn't good enough a lot of the time, but sir always says his pup doesn't need to speak to much anyway.
