Dick POV
I'm waiting for y/n to finish her routine patrol at the national base. She's the girl that flys the really cool jets at crazy speeds. I was in my own thoughts when y/n came over the radio. "Dick....in.........you there?" "Y/n? What is it? Your breaking up." I replied leaning forward in my seat. " 2 other...... on my tail....already called....I need.....help....HURRY!" She yelled over the radio. I started the GTR and raced over to the run way. I stopped and got out to see two planes chasing y/ns. I go up to Lieutenant Sarge and asked him what was going on. Mid way through the conversation we heard something fire. We looked up to the sky to see the planes launched missiles at y/n. "NO!" I screamed running towards a plane. I watched as the missiles made contact with the plane and I watch it explode. I stopped in my tracks as my eye widened at the sight before me hoping she had enough time to transform. A few minutes later we see y/n floating mid air transformed. She raised her hand and slammed them together makings the planes crash in front of her in a fiery explosion. She floated for a few seconds before she started to flicker. She kept switching between her jumpsuit and her power suit. She finally stopped flickering and was in her regular clothes as she started to tumble down to earth.
"NO!" I screamed taking off for the edge of the runway. She landed in the ocean and started to sink. I dove in after her swimming as fast as I could.
Y/n POV
My body was exhausted. I could feel myself detransforming and falling to the water below. I felt the wind rush by in a furry. As I hit the water my eyes started to shut. The last thing I saw was Dick diving into the water.
