Byul slammed the door to her room,  locking it behind her before slidding to the floor. She had only been home for five minutes and already wanted to leave again.

The minute she stepped in, Bora had her against the wall so fast she hit the back of her head. Her sister yelled at her for the things she had said earlier, calling her a bitch as well as a waste of air and space. Bora was quick to slap Byul across the face a couple of times, cutting Byul's cheek with her ring. Byul was quick to push her sister away and started up the stairs, only to have Bora grab her by the hair and practically throw her down causing her to slam her shoulder against the wall.

Byul sighed, standing from the floor so she could quickly shower and go to bed.

She was thirty minutes late for school the next day, even driving to school to make up for the lost time.

"I'm sorry I'm late, ma'am. I overslept." She said, bowing as she enter the class room.

"Don't make it a habit. Take your seat."

Byul kept her head down so her face was hidden by her hair. She didn't have time to cover the bruises or the cut this morning. It didn't help though as she sat. Jin and Yoongi still saw. Jin gave a sympathetic glace. He knew exactly who did it to her. Yoongi, on the other hand, didn't know, but he was ready to kill whoever it was. The thought of someone hurting her sent him into a frenzy. He didn't understand how someone so sweet could ever do anything to someone to make them hurt her.

Yoongi and Jin jumped out of their seats when the bell for lunch rang,  kneeling down in front of the girl.

"Who did this?"

"It's nothing, Oppa. I'm okay."

"You're bruised and have a cut. This isn't nothing." Yoongi sighed as Jin carefully cupped Byul's chin and turned her head to get a better look.

"What happened this time?"

"I embarrassed her in front of her friends."

"How?"

"They were talking shit on Yoongi so I stood up for him."

Jin sighed as Yoongi stood there shocked. She stood up for him and got hurt. He feel a pang of guilt that caused him to leave the room and head to the cafeteria.

"Don't mind him. He gets this way when he's upset about things. Does it hurt?"

"Not really."

"I'm glad you stood up for Yoongi, Bee, but you need to stand up for yourself as well. Now come on, I'm hungry."

Jin gingerly pulled his friend along with him to the cafeteria grabbing food for the two of them and heading to their table. Jin was quick to explain once the rest saw her bruises and Byul brushed the subject off.

"I've had worse. This is nothing. Let's talk about something else."

"Oh! I forgot." Jin suddenly exclaimed.

"Bee, I have something for you. I can bring it over after school. It's from Eomma."

"Another one?" She groaned.

"Yup!"

"I guess that means my parents with be home soon." She sighed.

The rest of the boys exchanged looks at the pair's deflated expressions.

"It will be fine. Just stay with me, like always." Jin smiled to her.

"I'll be okay." She smiled.

When Byul got home that day after school, she found that her parents were already home.

"Welcome home Appa. Hello Eomma." She greeted, bowing to her parents as they sat in the living room.

"Byul, where is Bora?" Her mother asked.

"I'm not sure. I drove to school today due to waking up late. Forgive me."

"Always so lazy." The older woman sighed.

"I wasn't aware you would be home so I'll need to go do shopping. May I be excused?"

Her mother waved her hand and Byul all but ran to her room to change. She shot Jin a text, saying not to come over as she headed to the car.

Byul sighed once she got home,  knowing she would have to bring everything in and it would take two or three trips. It was always like this, ever since she was old enough. She would have to do the grocery shopping, put it away, cook and clean. She never understood why. Bora never had to do any of it. Byul mainly just thought it was their way of trying to straighten her out when Bora always blamed her when she got in trouble.

Bora had always been like that, fake crying and blaming her sister anytime she got caught doing something.

Byul shrugged to herself, putting in her earbuds as she got to work on dinner. It took well over an hour but she soon found herself sitting with her parents and sister eating dinner.

" The Kims will be having a dinner party this Saturday. It going to be a rather big one so I expect you two to be on your best behavior."

"Yes, Eomma." They replied.

Byul was quiet the rest of dinner as Bora spoke with their parents about their trip. Byul didn't really care enough to pay attention, it was always the same.

Byul quickly cleaned up once they were done before grabbing her things once more.

"I'll be going out. Seokjin Oppa said his mother was needed me for something tonight."

She got no reply, sighing as she left the house.
