Our mother?! (Splinter x Reader)

When you hear him sing

Splinter (POV)
I sighed as I watched (Y/N) talking to my sons in front of the TV. I tried to forget the words she sung..... But how could I..... It was like she actually wrote it and it being ment for me...... I mean it sounds stupid to be honest to have thise feeling like that..... My son (favorite turtle) told me I should sing to her..... I went to Donatellos lab and found his laptop. I opened it to see a wallpaper of April....... "*sighs* Teenagers" I got onto a place called google and looked up nice love song. I looked over a bunch and none of them spoke to me. Then this one called. ".......??????? Hmm? Lets try it.

"YOUR WAY TO BEAUTIFUL GIRLLLLL THATS WHY IT WILL NEVER WORK, YOU HAVE ME-" I shut the computer quickly and hid. I saw Donatello running in with his Bo and with his other brothers. "Don are you sure that wasnt your ringtone for April?" Leonardo asked as he looked around. "No I have perfect for her ringtone." Donatello answered as he looked at his computer. "Really?!?! April?!?!" I heared (Y/N) ask from the living room. "Donnies never happening girlfriend." Raphael said as he put his Sais away and walked out of the lab. "Shut up Raph!!!" Donnie said as the rest of his brothers left. As Donatello walked to the doors he closed it and walked to his computer. "Sensi what are you doing going threw my computer?" He asked as he opened his computer and typed away. I couch a bit and got down from the ceiling. "I was looking for music but none of them cought my attention except one..... But it was a mistake." I said as he looked at me with a smirk. "Sensi please you will find nothing if you look up love songs because most of them arent your kind of thing to sing nor is it actually why your singing it. So for the sake of saving your relationship with (Y/N), let me pick the song." Donatello said as he started to type quickly from the computer. "Thank you my son."

(Y/N) POV
I see Donnie come back from his lab room and sits with us on the couch. "So April hu?" I ask with a smirk and everyone laughs except Donnie who blushes terrably. "No!!!!!" he says after covering his face.

Splinter (POV)
It took a while fo me to learn the song, but after a couple of weeks i got it down. But by then (Y/N) became more apart of our family and the boys will do anything to keep her smile. When she looks at me though i see a sad smile so i atleast hope this works for us to be more closer.  I told the boys to leave for patrol early to give me and (Y/N) some time to ourselfs so they left before (Y/N) came. I went to set some candles around the dojo and Donatellos computer in the corner, i then heard sounds from outside the dojo. She was here. "Hellooooo boys im here." She called out then i pressed play and walked to the middle of the dojo.

"Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question." I start to sing softly as i heard her make her way into the dojo and open the door and sees me.
"Like in your eyes, I see my future in an instant
And there it goes,
I think I found my best friend." She looks in amaze and i can see her blush slightly.
"I know that it might sound
More than a little crazy
But I believe." I took a deep breath and started to continue.

"I knew I loved you before I met you." I saw her eyes widen and her smile gone.
"I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life." She walks into the dojo slowly and I streached out my hand to her.

"There's just no rhyme or reason
Only the sense of completion." She looks at my hand then at my face.
"And in your eyes, I see
The missing pieces I'm searching for
I think I've found my way home
I know that it might sound
More than a little crazy
But I believe." In those moments as i took another breath in i noticed she tried to brush of the music and the words.

I have been waiting all my life." I gently grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"A thousand angels dance around you
I am complete now that I've found you." She looks down with a frown but i lift up her head to me.

I have been waiting all my life." She then smiled and giggled softly.

"I knew I loved you before I met you

I have been waiting all my life." The music faded and i held my breath waiting. "Yoshi thats a beautiful song, you should be a singer." With that she patted my head and walked off. "I guess the boys left early for patrol so im going to start on dinner." She said and walked out of the dojo. The song did nothing for her.

(Y/N) POV

I cooked spaghetti for the boys and when they arrived thet looked excited at happy. "Sooooooo hows everything?" Donnie asked. I sighed then starred at all of them. "Boys dont try to set me and Yoshi up like this. I know you boys feel we could be something more but im happy with what i have. Which is you as my boys and him as a long time friend. Its how its always been and its not ok to encourage it for your sake..... Understood?" They all looked shocked and hurt but it had to be said. I tried all i could with Yoshi and him trying to make a move on me made me doubt if that really was becaude he wanted to be something more. But they all nodded and started to eat which confirmed they were in on trying to set us up... Yoshi will always be faithful to his wife and thats the best thing about him.

 Dont hate me. Soooooo much has happened and i thought i lost the love to write but i love this book and i want more books like this to come out as well so im going to finish it and encurage more people to write there own splinterxreader.
