Y/N (POV)

Things have been a bit awkward with me and Yoshi. We try not to but if we are alone it becomes super awkward. Other then this I have spent time with each of the boys to bond better with them, Donnie and I will sit in his lab and he would go on and on about his projects and inventions that will or did help them when they needed it or about April. Mikey wanted me to learn how to ride a skateboard which I actually got the hang of but draws the line with doing tricks as to not one day hurt myself. Leo shows me all his comics about space heros and his love for the show, he also talked about his crush on a girl but doesn't go into detail. Spending time with Raph was mostly him showing me things in his room and talking about how no one is allowed to know about his things. Spending one on one with all of the turtles fills my heart just knowing im being in there lives again. Sadly with the big reasonability of wanting to spend time with them coming from work to the apartment then to the sewers is such a hassle. Especially sense they dont have actual food in the kitchen for a normal human mother to make for her mutant children. So today after work I have to go to the store before I go visit them as I look down to group chat the boys that im going to the store before coming over. "Hey (Y/N)" I look up to se a very close friend from work approach me. "Hey you, how has it been?" I ask him while pressing send on my phone. "pretty good just got off of work, just like you." He said, I nod and smile. "And I was wondering if I could walk you home or something?" He asked nervously. "Awe thats sweet of you, but Im actually going to the store before going home." I get a ring from my phone as i mention this and I see Leo asking if we can just meet at my place so they can help carry the groceries to the lair. "Well thats perfect I could help you run that errand, its been a while sense we had time to talk, please let me help you." I read the message from Leo and look back at my coworker. "Thanks but Im ok I can do it myself." I say, I look down to my phone to respond to Leo. "Well maybe we can do it another time?" he asked "Sorry but I actually have a lot to do, thank you for the offer but im ok, see you later." I say to the coworker as I walk off as I text leo that Ill be home mostly in an hour or hour in a half." I send the message and put my phone in my bag. I walk to my car and drive to the market thats close to my apartment and bring it to my door, as i walk in and turn all the lights on I see yoshi in my bedroom. "Hey stranger, what are you doing here?" I ask as I bring my things to the kitchen to put away. "I wanted to make sure you got home safe the boys went on an early patrol so they can stay here after there shift." He says as he came out of my room "Oh then I should probably make something here so they can eat after there patrol." I said ask i look in my fridge. "Hey uh I passed by your work and I saw you talking to this guy." Yoshi said as casually as possible. "Oh yah?" I say as i look at him with my eye raised giving him a look giving him pause. "......" "And??" I said just making him look away. "Uhh i want just saying I noticed you guys talking and-and he asked if we could hang out but I said I was busy and that was all there was to it." I said to him as I walked up to him. "oh ok I was just wondering about it." He said when he finally made himself face me. "Aweee its cute you still care." I said as I soften my face and smile, he lets out a sigh of relief letting his guard down. "Surprise attack." I say as I lean up and kiss him on the nose, when Im leaning back he grabs both my arms making me squeak in surprise. "ok ok I'm sorry I was trying to-mph" I was startled as he pulled me close to him and kisses me right on the lips. it was such a shock. I couldn't move. He pulls away slowly and looks at my shocked face. "uhh that.... was just a reaction." He said in a low and shy voice. I couldn't do anything but just stare at him. "Anyways.... Um... Do you want help with the food for the boys?" He says as he puts me down and steps back slowly. "o-oh ya ya ya uh..... just give me a moment." I said as I walk past him and close the door to my room, I run to my bed grabbing a pillow and yelling as loud but as loud as I can. Because oh my god its was so amazinggggggg. I take a deep breath in and out. Then put on a clean pair of cloths then walked to the kitchen. "Ok Im ready." I call out to him and walk up to him, I see him looking nervous, I take a deep breath and hold his hand. "Yoshi." I say and hold his cheek with my other hand. "Calm down, Im serious its ok we can just forget it." I say. "No.... Its ok I just am still surprised myself." I giggle and take out ingredients to make some food. "Oh ya you won that surprise attack, but its ok Ill get you next time." I say as i continue to prepare the food not seeing his ears turn red.
