Warning: This is my first story written on Wattpad. It's a fanfiction for Dark Parables, a game series based on classic tales. This may be a bit longer than expected, and it may be more complicated/convoluted than the plots of the real games. All the same, I hope you'll enjoy it and please comment or criticize...any feedback from you is like a million bucks to me.

I will try my best to update this story but I apologize in advance since there's a possibility that it may remain stagnant for quite some time......I'm still trying!

Also, if you are a faithful player/fan of Dark Parables, you might be expecting this story to contain familiar characters from the previous Dark Parables games. Therefore, here is a fair warning for you: this story MIGHT NOT contain any familiar characters. Because I can't find any way to work them into this story...

Please don't get mad at me......Hey, I did say MIGHT, right?

Now, you can go to the next part, to start reading the Intro Sequence. Below are just details about the 'game' that you can read if you are interested.

INSPIRATION FROM...

-the Dark Parables games (of course), be sure to check them out. They're gorgeous, stunning, great games.

-Maid Maleen, Brothers Grimm. And I only came to know of this tale from...

-Book of A Thousand Days, by Shannon Hale.

-The Goose Girl, Brothers Grimm

MENU SCREEN

The menu screen shows a ghostly but beautiful woman dressed like a princess, although her dress showed some signs of wear and tear. Her face is completely flawless and expressionless as she stands on the left side of the screen with an old, moss-covered wall behind her. Above the wall, you can see parts of buildings: some castle turrets, and maybe a tower. The wall continues to the right but there's an open gate through which you can see cobbles on the ground slowly fading away to dirt and grass. The ground outside rises and falls, forming a view of grassy hills and peaks. On top of one of the hills, you can see the silhouette of a figure standing with a flock of geese wandering around the person's knees. The menu buttons are displayed beside the ghostly woman, below the silhouette with the geese.

LOADING SCREEN

The loading screen zooms toward the ghostly woman, now standing in front of the gate, with the silhouette behind her. Her eyes become darker, as if they are clouded over by ink, and the flock of geese with the silhouette burst into flight when the loading has finished.
