Notice : The high school name is changed to Korea High. Since the school would be weird with only 9 girls I decided to add a few more people. They won't be the main characters, just extras.

momo pov

I got ready for school and walked down the stairs into the kitchen. My mom greeted me.

" Good Morning dear. " She smiled

" Morning Mom. What's for breakfast? "

" Bacon and Eggs. "

" Yum, my favorite. " My mouth was watering when mom placed a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me.

*ring* My phone was ringing.

" Hello? "

" Momoring " It was Mina.

" Annyeong Pingu. What's up? "

" I just had breakfast. Wondering what time i should come over to pick you up. "

" I'm having breakfast now. I'll be done in 10mins. "

" Okay I'll come in 10 mins then. "

" See you later. " I hung up.

10 mins later

" Thank you for breakfast. It was delicious. " I thanked my mom.

" You're welcome. " Mom smiled at me while taking the plates away.

*Beep beep* It was Mina's car horn.

" Mina's here, mom. " I walked towards the door and looked back at my mom

" Have fun in school " Mom waved to me.

I walked towards Mina's car and got onto the passenger seat.

" Good morning, Mina. " I greeted her while getting the seatbelt.

" Morning. What did you have for breakfast? " She started driving towards school.

" Bacon and Eggs. "

" Ugh Yum. "

" You? "

" As normal, Toast and Cereal. My mom don't have time to make my breakfast again. I miss your mom's cooking. "

" That's okay. You can come over anytime to taste mom's cooking. How about tonight? Dinner at mine. "

" Sure. Thanks. " She smiled at me. I smiled back.

The ride to school was really short, Mina and I barely had talked.

" Oh wow we're already here. " Mina parked the car.

" Another day of school. " I sighed while getting out of the car.

Mina and I walked towards the gate. I notice a lot of girls seemed excited for something.

We ignored those girls as usual and walked towards our lockers.

" Mina. "

I turned my head to see Chaeyoung, one of the  cheerleaders, looking at me and Mina.

" Hi Chae. What's up? "

" Do you know what event is coming up? "

" Dahyun's birthday? "

Kim Dahyun, the most popular girl in the school. She's obnoxious. Wait no, actually I don't know. I'm not close to her ( obviously ), I just never seen her being nice to me. Maybe she doesn't think I exist. I used to have a small crush on her, but now, I don't know anymore.

" Yup, Dub's birthday. You're invited. You can bring a plus one. " Chaeyoung holds up a invitation card.

Oh right. Popular girls always have parties. I was never invited to any.

" Oh cool. " Mina exclaimed as she took the card from Chaeyoung.

She took my hand and asked " Can Momo come too? "

Chaeyoung looked at me. I tried not to make eye contact with her.

" Erm... she's gonna be your plus one? "

" yup. "

" Don't you have anyone else to bring? I don't approve of her... "

" Fine then, I won't go to her birthday party. " I looked at Mina, shocked that she said that.

" Geez, alright. None of my business. " Chaeyoung walked away.

" Mina " I whispered yelled.

She looked at me with a confused face.

" Why would you want me to come along?! "

" You're my best friend. It wouldn't be fun without you. "

I was happy and grateful Mina thought of me, but thinking I have to attend a popular party makes me nervous and worried. What if I make a bad impression?

Mina squeezed my hand.

" Hey, it's gonna be fine. I'll be by your side. If there's anything you don't know you can just ask me. I won't abandon you. "

" You sure? " I looked up at her small black yet pretty eyes.

She nodded and embraced me. I felt warmth. I'm so thankful for her.

" When's the party? " I asked, breaking our hug. I was suffocating lol.

Mina looked at the card.

" Erm.. Tomorrow night. "

Tomorrow?!

" Mina! I need an outfit! I can't go dressed like an 80s woman. " I panicked.

" Calm down, Momo. We'll go shopping after school later. "

" Okay... " I calmed down.

" Let's head to class. "

Mina took my hand and dragged me to class.
