I couldn't stay awake during class my eyes kept drifting close.Timothy tapped my desk causing me to jump a little.

"yo Natasha stay awake what's up with you"

Nigga what's up with you tapping my desk.

"Nothing just a late night "

"NATASHA OWENS!"my professor said slamming his hand against the desk.as he screamed from the front.

"I UNDERSTAND YOU MAY NOT WANT TO BE IN THIS CLASS BUT YOU WILL NOT TALK THROUGH IT "He hesitated"PLEASE LEAVE I WILL SEE YOU THURSDAY"

As I grabbed my purse I got up and glanced to see everyone watching me leave .

I am so embarrassed.

My drive home was quite.trying to think of ways to explain why I've been sent home early for the third time this month.

Maybe I could say it was an early day.Nah that's not gonna cut it for a third time.

I got home to find she was not there.All that lying planned for nothing.

My phone was ringing off the hook with I Don't wanna know by Mario that was my theme song right there.I picked up my phone to see an unknown number.

who is this?

I answer it anyway

"Hello?"

"Hey cupcake"

"who is this?"

"Chase,from last night don't you remember?"

No

"oh yea"

Mind well pretend he good be a good customer.

He was talking but I was scrolling through contacts to see who I can text while he is taking about god knows what.As I scroll through my contacts I accidentally tapped a contact.

Marcus ...Marcus white

A rush of excitement runs through me .Along with a longing feeling Marcus gave me from being my childhood friend,my first boyfriend,my first love,the person I had my first time with in high school,and the person who was my best friend.

"Chase I'm gonna have to call you back"

Before he could even say okay,I hung up and was pressing the call button to Marcus

It went to voicemail.

"Hey Marcus its me Natasha I'm just calling cause I haven't talked to you in a while I just wanted to call and see how you were doing maybe we can go out for coffee or something and getting reacquainted give me a call back if you can Alright,bye"

I ain't never felt so nervous in a long time.DAMN!!
