There was silence, not like people not talking like dead silence. Too quiet for a beach. "Sir!" he heard a voice say quietly. "Sir!" It got louder. "Sir!" It was a shout. He came to, with a jolt. "We are approaching the target." He seemed confused. "General Kaufman, are you okay sir?" "I'll be fine, just brief me on the mission again." The woman looks down at a folder. She then proceeds to explain that an unknown threat has been spotted on I-95 northbound. It crashed into the trees and proceeded on foot.
"What do you mean unknown, is it a person?" "We aren't really sure. At first it will look like a human, then it will change into something dark." As she finishes talking the pilot looks over his shoulder. "We have arrived." They felt a thud as the helicopter touched the ground. Everyone piled out into the woods in order to not be seen. Once everyone but the pilots was out, they got into formation and headed to the site of the crash.
Once at the crash, they found parts of people but they couldn't make out who they were. After looking through the wreckage some more they found a severely injured woman. She looked young and she was covered in blood and claw marks. A group of people took her to put her on a stretcher and took her back to the helicopter.
When they were satisfied with their search they proceeded to the target. They found a man sitting up against a tree and passed out. Some soldiers stood back with their guns trained on him, while two others crept up to him and injected him with a serum. A minute went by and the man began to slump over. General Kaufman oversaw a few soldiers as they strapped him to a solid metal stretcher and took him to a garbage truck that just pulled off the road. The back of the truck opened up at a set of hinges welded seamlessly in order to hide them in a crevasse.
When the back of the truck opens, it reveals a padded white interior with blood stains coating around the only non-padded floor space.
