Nine: Spending time together

Dippers POV:
It's about 7:00 in the morning and I was meeting Bill at the lake, I was surprisingly was excited to meet him, before I left I made sure my hair was okay and my feathers looked fine, I at myself in the mirror

"What am I doing?!" I said before a threw  my brush onto my dresser and I ran down the stairs and out the door run to the lake with a smile on my face

When I got there Bill was already there I stop and I'm out of breathe

"So, I'm guessing you were excited to meet me?" Bill said with a smirk

My face felt warm "uh...yeah" I said catching my breathe

"Welp, come on" Bill said walking behind me, the way I came

I turn my head over my shoulder to look and him before turning to him "I thought we were going to be at the lake" I said confused

"We were meeting there Now were going other places," Bill says continuing to walk, I ran up to catch up

《TIME SKIP TO NIGHT》

I've spent all day with Bill and he's not a bad guy, I like him

He took me to a field, it was dark, super dark

I chuckled "why here?" I ask

"Watch," Bill says

Bill stomps one of his class onto a small patch of grass sending spirt flares into the sky they were a baby blue

After a minute we were running in the field causing the flares to fly up and up I was so happy

We jumped and feel in the grass and laid there, we are both on our backs side by side,

"Ya know your a good guy" I admitted

"Glad you opened your eyes" Bill chuckles before pausing

I got worried
"Something wrong?" I ask with anxiety in clogging my air ways

"Here's what I don't get, you've been gone all this time, and you all of sudden like me you've changed" Bill says

Bill's POV:
Pine trees face turned from joy to sad

"Yeah I'm not the coward of a cub I was, I'm just...me" he says looking away from me

Thoughts ran through my mind and I sat up,

"You were not a coward! In weirdmigetion you tried to claw my eye for God's sake" I reassured the sphinx next to me

He sat up as well

"Only to get hits back like a bowling ball" he says back

"You were always the strong sphinx from birth" I say

He stood up "I have to disagrees" he looked down at me

I stood up as well, "why must you put yourself down" I ask

I heard a growl escape is mouth which shocked me because he was not really the hostile type

"Because it's all true" he growls

"Why to you think that?!" I ask

"Why must you be on my back about it, let it go!" Pinetree says aggressively

"No I won't let it go because you were never a coward and you aren't now" I said

"Just drop it!" He yelled

"Why?!" I asked

"Because why should you know your a guy who could never fix what he's done" he yelled with tears in his eye

"Fine! Go! Go beat yourself because I won't be around to help!" I yelled

"I don't care" Pinetree said running off
