One week later,

"Why?" Payal looked at her sister tearfully, Khushi clutched her hand crying "because I cannot see you and amma-babu ji suffer. I just want you all to be happy."

Payal screamed "how can we be happy seeing you like this?" pushing Khushi little, Arnav held her before she could fall on the ground. Pulling her arm Payal shouted "look at them, are they looking happy?" Khushi looked at her parents who were crying. Looking away from them she whispered "Everything will be fine jiji"

"Nothing will be fine ever. What did you think I will be able to accept my sister sacrificed her life for me? How can you do this to us?" She then looked at Raizada family and Arnav "Are you all happy now? You people had successfully destroyed my sister's life. I'll never forgive you people."

"Jiji please........."

But Payal did not listen to her, putting her hand forward she shouted "Bas Khushi....kuch nahiin sunna" Turning to her parents, she said firmly "Let's go Amma-Babu ji, nothing is left here"

Walking to them she held their hands, Khushi rushed to them "Nahiin, please jiji don't go......aise mat jao. I did this for us. I cannot see you, amma, babuji suffer. *Cupping Payal's face*.....Please understand, I love you guys. How can I see you struggling?"

Payal taunted coldly "So you drank poison."

Khushi "Jiji...."

Payal "yeh shaadi ek zeher hai Khushi. This will kill you. This marriage is all about a baby for him and his wife *throwing a disgusting look at Arnav and Sheethal*, it is all about them. Where are you in all this? No one cares for you. Will you be able to give him a baby and leave Khushi? Bolo, why are you silent? I know you Khushi....you will not be able to bear it. What after then? What about your future when you will not be bonded in this contract? Because at the end you will be left with nothing, no husband, no baby. It will be finished. This society we are living will not see the sacrifice you are making, they will not let you live Khushi. This will not only kill you but also us."

Khushi cried hearing her words, it was not easy for her to get into contract marriage, but she was left with no choice. For her family she is ready to drink this poison too. She knows she has hurt her family but it is all for their betterment. They cannot stand against Raizada and win.

Payal shaking her head left with her parents from there.

Arnav keeping blank face looked at his family and ordered "you all go home. We will arrive in some time."

Anjali "But Arnav?"

Arnav showing his hands "Khushi has few papers to sign so before coming to home we will be going to lawyer office. So, leave with everyone."

Anjali satisfied with his answer left with the others.

Arnav held Khushi by her shoulder and led her to the near by bench under the tree. He held her in silence letting her cry her heart even if her each cry and tears piercing his heart. What felt like hours later Khushi cry stopped? She sniffed coming out his arms, embarrassed that she cried all over him. And also shocked seeing him giving his shoulder to cry on.
