We got in the car around 4:30 to head to the city. I was way too tired to care but I can assure you I wasn't happy about the move. Not that I loved the city I used to live in but I didn't wanna pack up at the crack-of-dawn to move to stupid New York. I can't say I remember much of the drive because I slept for much of it. I did hear my mom blaring stupid country music. I would've played good music like AC/DC, but I was snoozing away.

"Blaine wake up we are at the apartments." I peak open an eye and see my mom peering back at me over her seat in our tiny car. "Blaine. Up and at 'em we are here." I mumbled an O.K. and sat up. Mom reaches out and pulls my hood off my head and smooths my hair. A single red strand falls into my face. I look up at her and see her beautiful sea of blue eyes sparkling at me.

"This apartment looks nice Ma." I had to say something to please her. I hate this move but it made her happy for me to get a new start at college. I was not. It took me forever to get my reputation of invisible goth and now I have to start all over as weird nobody. I got out of the car and looked up at the apartments and saw a pair of legs dangling off the roof. The sun was in my eyes so i couldn't make out the figure.

"Help me unpack B. it'll take less time if we work together.
