Todoroki•

A cup of black tea, a blanket, a pencil, notebook, homework, dim lights, and a quiet roommate named Tokoyami. Perfect environment to study in for the big final exams. I began revising old assignments and exams I have previously taken. Tokoyami and I usually studied for big tests together, it payed off in the end too. Our grades were remarkable in all of our classes.

We revised everything we needed to know in an hour, satisfied with our work, we got ready to train. Train for what you may ask? Well there is a final exam in our hero course class too. We headed out to a reserved training area. As we approached the field of gravel, we saw several explosions, and a soaring Midoriya.

"Bakugo, your time is up, it's our turn." Tokoyami said. I caught Midoriya before he hit the ground.

"And please take Midoriya to Recovery Girl." I tried to hand Midoriya to the crimson-eyed boy but he shoved past me.

"Useless Deku," he muttered and stormed off.

"I'll call the nurse robots things." Tokoyami took out his phone and requested the robots.
A few minutes later the robots arrived carrying a hurt Midoriya to Recovery Girl's office.

"Now, shall we train? We should expose our weaknesses and fix them before the exam," Tokoyami suggests.

"Yea, that would be best. In that case I'll go turn on the field lights and I'll use my fire against you," I said monotony. Ever since the attack of the League of Villains at the camp sight, I've been using my fire more and more. But it was nothing compared to my ice. So I have to train harder and harder to make my flames stronger, and eventually I could develop blue flames.

"Alright, ready Todoroki? Let's begin." As Tokoyami said that, his dark shadow comes out and heads towards me. I quickly dodge and attack with a concentrated stream of flame. dark shadow was hit, but quickly regenerated. He came again with the same force and I attached the same way. As the smoke cleared I saw a half sized dark shadow. Now dark shadow was already 3x more bigger than most people so I would assume the field lights plus my flames would scare him a little bit. I used my ice to swiftly move across the gravel field and head towards Tokoyami, as I was making ice paths I was shooting fire balls at Tokoyami. dark shadow was close behind me, I had to end this quickly. I leaped in the air above making the largest fireball I could. This was a win win for me either way. If dark shadow blocked, Tokoyami was open, and if he doesn't, well Tokoyami is toast. As I predicted the shadow blocked, being disintegrated. I landed safely and made my way to Tokoyami to pin him down, when suddenly dark shadow came from underneath the ground and wrapped around me. I gasped for air is he squeezed me.

"You see Todoroki, I've advanced so that dark shadow can split up, but for the cost of its size." Tokoyami sighed and walked over to me to pin me down. Well he isn't the only one who's advanced...

"Hell flame, secret move." I muttered so he wouldn't hear. But he did, he was confused at first but when a flame engulfed my body dark shadow let go and hissed the cool air around us and the heat from my hell flame, made a medium sized fire-tornado heading right towards Tokoyami.

"I stand down." Tokoyami sighed. I called off the attack and went to shake his hand.

"Nice work Tokoyami, you had me surprised." We began to walk back to our dorm.

"You developed some tremendous attacks Todoroki, I'm very impressed. Tokoyami grabbed us some water from the first floor kitchen.

We took the stairs to our dorm room, I let Tokoyami take a shower first. Instead I went for a walk around the campus to visit the garden. Even though it was eight at night, I enjoy taking walks, even after a formidable battle. I took my phone and some bread just in case and headed off.

I arrived at the garden. It was a beautiful sight, even at night I admire the butterflies and the koi fish in the little pond. There were also some baby ducks in the fountain, good thing I brought some bread. I threw small pieces in the water for the ducks. I sat down on the bench to enjoy the peaceful moment. It made me a bit worried to think how horrible life would be once I return home for Winter break. What would father think of my achievements? Would he think that I could too better? Why should I care anyways.. He's not a father to me, even if I am biologically connected to him, I would never consider him a father. He never cared about me or my needs, only his. He never stopped to consider my feelings, I showed him how I really felt at the sports festival. I wonder how he'll react to that when I return.

I was in deep thought until my phone rang, it was Tokoyami. I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Todoroki, where are you, you've been gone for an hour and a half." Tokyami's voice was filled with concern.

"Oh I hadn't realized that I was out for so long, I was just out for a walk in the garden. I'll be back soon," I said in my usual cold voice.

"Okay see you soon." He hung up. I still needed to take a shower, good thing it was Friday. I've gotten all of my studies over with for Monday's exams. So I just need to focus on training for Aizawa's class.

I returned to my dorm. Tokoyami gave a relieved sigh when he saw me. He was reading a book. I entered the bathroom, already a bit misty from Tokoyami's shower. I turned the head nearly all the way up, you could say this was part of my training to be more heat resistant, but in reality it was just my guilty pleasure, I love high water and heat bills... that I don't have to pay. I finished my shower, dried off, and plopped on my bed. I stared at the ceiling for a while what's my purpose in life.

"Good night Todoroki."

"Good night Tokoyami." The light flicked off, great more nightmares...

a bit boring but here's the first chapter.  I might try to keep the chapters between 500-1000 words long. I tried a book with 4000+ in each chapters and I just quit bc it got confusing >.<
