time melted away,
and i realised only today
that you had no intention of keeping me.
the feelings had bubbled for years,
did you not see them, behind all those tears?
of course, it had always been that way.
i understand that i am inferior.
irrelevant.
insignificant.
i understand. i understand now.
i wasted my whole life, on someone who was never really there.
