I woke up the next morning to Ella shouting in my bedroom. I cracked my eyes wearily to see her bouncing up and down and sifting through clothes quickly. She was like a bumblebee on crack. If I didn't know any better I would have sworn she had drank a red bull energy drink.
"Come on, Lauri, get up! Today is the day we go to the ball!" She said excitedly.
I dragged myself from the warm bed and padded over to the window, the sun was barely out. What was she talking about? I thought groggily.
She through a bundle of green cloth on the bed and ran out of the room. "Be ready to leave in at 6 o' clock!" She yelled from somewhere down the hall.
It turned out, Arabella had arranged for her, Aaron and I to go to the ball together. In order to do that, Ella suggested we meet at Aaron's house for lunch and leave shortly after, since it takes about 4 hours to get to the ball from Aaron's.
And the green dress she laid on my bed was a traveling dress. I didn't know there was a such thing, but that is what Ella told me.

She wasn't joking about Aaron's house-or should I say manor-it was huge!
