"What's the Magic Ingredient?" asked Robert.
"Well, uhm, it's a- a lighting."I said nervously. I knew that this wasn't going to be easy, but I had stayed up late trying to think of a solution, and it was the only thing that was going to work.
To my surprise, Robert just said "Okay. I think you can do it."
After a second of silence Marla added:
"I think so, too"
I had never gotten a real compliment from Marla Thompson because although we had always been close, she never treated me like I was capable of doing great things.
"Th-thank you," I said in a startled tone.
"Alright, you will have to find a location near our hotel where there could be bolts of lightning. You're lucky that it's raining today because there could be a lightning storm near our hotel, but you have to hurry up, the rain might stop soon," she announced. After another short pause, she said "Good luck."
I left the room and went over to mine, getting ready. I looked up the weather forecast for the area around Paris, and found that there was a possible lighting storm taking place two hours east from France. Lucky me. I got one of the big crystal jars and a lid which I had brought with me from the bakery. It would make catching the lightning easier. Not easy. Just easier. I took a raincoat, some money for the taxi and my phone, before I headed out of the door.
