I reached the hotel, and the receptionist shot me a disapproving look as I walked in with my muddy coat and rain boots. I didn't care much, though; I still couldn't believe I had done this. When I reached the Thomson's room on the second floor, I knocked on the door, and this time, it wasn't opened before I lifted my hand to knock. I waited, and Clementine opened it energetically.

"Hey, Lou!"

"Hi Clemen-" I heard Marla in the back.

"Lou?" I heard her steps as she walked towards the door.

"I have it" I shouted ecstatically before she had a chance to greet me. Suddenly, everyone else was at the door, too.

"Really? Lou, I'm so proud of you!"

They all hugged me, and I was filled with joy. Then I took the jar out of my basket and showed them. They were just as astounded as I was, and Marla looked at me. Did she look proud? We all sat down at the little table and just talked about what had happened in the past days. So many things had changed, and it seemed that our whole world has shifted.

Hours later, I went to my room, a satisfied smile on my face. I went to sleep easily that night. For the first time in forever, I felt confident, and I felt that I was enough.
