chapter three » music, frens and drama

spoon was listening to some random songs that her friend lilac had made a recommendation playlist for her on spotify. lilac had a weird taste in music, and spoon only liked it a little bit. she was only listening to it to seem like a good friend, and she supposed that it was a bit unfair to lilac, but it was to keep their friendship going. 

since lilac had gotten a boyfriend, she never talked to spoon on discord anymore. spoon got really annoyed by this, but just wanted to keep their friendship going, so she pretended to not care. she wouldn't even call lilac her best friend anymore because of this. all of her attention was directed to him nowadays, and spoon was barely there. 

spoon kept listening to the playlist lilac had made for her when she heard the song "doubt" by twenty øne piløts. wtf, she thought. this is my favourite song, and according to lilac it's "emo", so why did she put this on here?  suddenly, she remembered about the tøp discord server. those guys are always my friends and plus, they're never "too busy to talk" because of a boyfriend. so spoon decided to check in on the guys on the tøp discord server, cause she had nothing better to do. and i'll turn off this terrible music... she reminded herself as she changed her song on spotify to "bitch lasagna" by pewdiepie. it was one of her favourites.

trenchmas and spoon had become better friends since the last few times they had spoken. they actually weren't that "badass", they were actually really nice. over time, spoon and trenchmas had become really good friends. every time they spoke to each other, they would greet each other over-enthusiastically. spoon was happy to have such a good friend on the tøp server. 

spoon had made many friends on the server after being there for about a month, and some of them were the really og hoetown gangers. even if spoon had been there for about a month, she was still a bit terrified of them. they'd been here for so long and were on such high levels.... and spoon was just here as a little level eight smol bean. she was planning to try and get a higher role so she could seem cool to the og hoetown gangers, but it was a very slow process. she would get there though, even if it meant staying up until 3am talking. 

A FEW HOURS LATER

spoon was snooping around hometown and adding a few messages every now and then, not really into the conversation. she noticed that yangle and some other people kept saying "this song fucks" and stuff about this thing called "last.fm". she decided to listen to the conversation and try to find out how to be og like the og hoetown gangers and learn the ways of the last.fm without asking, because spoon was only an innocent smol bean that didn't want to be embarrassed. 

after a while, some bendy toe noob finally asked "what is last.fm?" and all of spoon's questions were answered. she did all of the steps that yangle mentioned, and she soon got an account on last.fm and started being og with all of the og hoetown gangers. she was showing off her cool songs when suddenly it switched to lilac's recommendation playlist without her knowing it.

yangle: yeah. you should just leave, spoon.

by then, spoon was upset. lilac had gotten her kicked from the conversation and she didn't even have any significance in spoon's life anymore, yet she had ruined this for her. lilac needs to find where and who her loyalties lie with, otherwise, she'll end up with no friends at all. spoon mightn't even call them friends anymore... not because of what just happened, but because of her recent actions. spoon was done with lilac.. for now, anyway.
