Irene stared at Seulgi blankly and walked away as if nothing happened. Seulgi was still shocked about the brunette's sudden appearance, the girl was standing right in front of her.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Did she heard what we said just now?"

"What kind of fucking timing was that?!"

Seulgi thought as she was wiping the tears off her face, still laying on the floor. It was when the school bell rang and Seulgi finally decided to stand up then proceeded to her class.

Irene was finding her boyfriend at the time when Seulgi was getting bullied. She heard her boyfriend's voice and another familiar voice was shouting, she followed the sound to the source of it that eventually led to the hallways.

"I heard that you like my girlfriend, Irene, huh?"

Irene quickly hid in a corner and used her hands to cover her mouth after hearing name getting called.

"So what? It's not like she will like me back either. She's not a fucking disgusting lesbian like me, am I right?"

Irene's brown eyes widened. She recognized the owner of the familiar voice.

Kang Seulgi.

'What is she doing with my boyfriend and also WHAT DID SHE JUST SAID!?' Irene thought.

Irene tried to calm down after receiving such confession out of nowhere made from her long-time friend and took a peek at the situation. The poor raven got slapped by her boyfriend and thrown to the floor hard. Irene's heart had shattered into pieces when she saw the girl struggles to get up.

"At least you have some common sense, a dyke like you has no rights whatsoever."

Her boyfriend walked away just like that.

Irene showed up, wanted to help her friend. The raven-haired girl suddenly met eyes with her. The mono-lidded eyes that she had grown fondness for since the day they met, the day she had fallen in love for the first time in her life. Instant guilts filled her mind as she met those charismatic eyes. It's been 2 years since they saw each other's faces, the face that they tried to avoid every day in school. Seulgi still looked lovely for Irene as always, yet she could feel the distance between them. Irene felt sad that she wasn't able to love this cute girl in front of her.

Her father would literally murder anyone who is homosexual in the family, including his own baby daughter. That's the reason why she chose to start dating Kai two years ago and left Seulgi. One, she was forced to date him because of her dad. Secondly, she was too afraid that she might fell deeper in love with her. Watching Seulgi getting bullied because of her made her drowned in sadness. Irene quickly left the hallways before two lines of tears can be seen slipping out her eyes.

As soon as Seulgi entered her class, she was greeted by piles of paper with "Disgusting creature" written on it. She ignored all the papers that were getting thrown to her and went to her own desk. "Homosexual" "Loser" "Ugly bitch" "Slut" "Worthless person" "Kill yourself". These harsh words were all written in red on her desk by her classmates. Seulgi couldn't do anything except being dumb while getting bullied. What could she do? Even her teachers ignored her when she seeks for help.

Seulgi was in the middle of Art class when she felt cold and weak all of a sudden, her right hand started losing grip on her pencil, her vision became blurry. The last thing she could hear was her Art teacher calling out her name before she slammed her head on the desk heavily and passed out.

"Ugh, my head hurts like hell." She groaned after waking up on a plain white bed.
