The Celestial Queen

(TCQ) Chapter 1

Normal POV.

" Lola wait up" Luminese  called for her sister. " Hurry up we're late" Lola said. Both girls were running to the throne room trying their best to be on time. Lola stopped at the door get her dress and hair fixed up by the maids and the same was being done for Luminese. They stood there and saw there brothers and other sister rushing towards them.
  " Guys hurry up we're late" Layla their eldest sister said. After being fixed up by the door, Layla whispered at the door " we're ready," and the doors were opened by the guards. They went in a specific order, from eldest to youngest, because that's how their names would be called and the order for which they would become kings and queens. They entered the room single file and the boys bow while the girls curtsey to show respect to the king and queen.
  " Layla, Lowen, Luke, Lola and Luminese, you're all called here today because your father and I will be leaving for quite some time, we're going to Serdast," the queen said the children eyes widen in surprised and gasps could be heard in the room. " Yes,I am well aware that this place is quite dangerous which is why we are going there to make peace with the Serdastians, we won't return until there is peace, but if we aren't back in a year's time then you're allowed to come search for us, except for the children," she said looking at the children. " Layla will be in charge since she is the oldest and if anything happens she is next in line for the throne, this meeting is dismissed, all the maids please see me exactly after everyone has left" the queen said. Everyone including the children left. The maids gathered and started waiting for orders. " Head maid please come forward" the queen said, " you are to ensure that Layla is prepared for the throne in case something happens so she will be ready, you are to get your fellow maids to help you as well, you all begin next week this time which is the time I will be leaving, before I leave I will ensure that she knows her responsibilities as queen and her duties, you are all dismissed" the queen said, after they left the queen sat in her throne and let out a deep sigh.
    " It's going to be okay Lily we're doing the right thing" the king said placing a hand on his queens shoulder. " We can only hope Luan, we can only hope" the queen responded to the king.

POV: LUMINESE

  We left the throne room and everyone that was in front of me headed to there rooms so being the youngest I also headed to my room. When I got to my room I went to the closet to get some comfortable clothes to wear, I got dressed and Lola came in my room nagging that she's bored. " Hey Lola" I said " I'm bored let's do something fun" she said dragging me of to the practice room. " Why are we in the practice room big sis?" I asked, " To train  of course, remember it's our first day of training" she said which I totally forgot was today. "Um big sis what are we learning today again and who's training us?" I asked " we're learning water dragon slaying magic today and water god slaying magic tommorow, and Lowens teaching us" she said. " Oh yeah" I replied " and stop calling me big sis I'm just 3 years older than you which makes me 13" she said. " Okay big sis" I replied and she faced palm. Then a maid came in and told us that Lowen said to meet him at the inside spring. Lola ran of to the spring dragging me behind, " thank you" I shouted to the maid which nodded in response. We were at the spring and we saw big bro just standing there in the spring. " Get in the spring" he said and we did as told. " Space yourself from each other" he said again with his eyes closed and so we did. He opened his eyes and said " the first lesson off water dragon slaying is to become one with the water, if you listen to the water you can hear the way it moves and then you can feel it in your veins, the water that you feel in your veins is the form you want to take, so try to get that water on the inside to take the form of your skin" he said I closed my eyes and listen, he was right I can hear the way it moves and feel it in my veins, I focused really hard on getting it outside until I felt cold all of a sudden, " that's good little sis he said, I opened my eyes and looked at myself, I could see through my hands it's so cool. " The second step is to control it" he said " to control it you have to let it flow from your body to your palms and think of what you want it to become then direct it to where you want it to go" he said I did has told and I formed a flower out of the water and when I opened my eyes I threw it at big bro who dodged it, when I looked at the flower it wasn't a flower any more the petals turned into daggers and it sliced through the tree that was behind big bro. " Very good Luminese just two more days of training and you'll master dragon slaying magic and God slaying magic" he said " what about me big bro?" Lola asked " your doing great Lola and you need only 5 days of training to master it" he said " Luminese your training is over today you can practice in the other spring room if you like," he said " thanks big bro" I said walking to the other spring room to practice what I've learned.

POV: LAYLA

I went to my room after the meeting and changed into a ball dress and a tiara and some heels. I went to the ball room which is where I'll be practicing how to be a queen, I went in and saw no one so I sat on a chair. " First Layla a queen must never sit idle waiting, a queen must always be productive and never cross your legs in public, simply tuck one behind the other and sit up straight," mother said " do you have to go mother?" I asked her while I stood and she placed a book on my head " I do, promise me one thing Layla" she said " and what is that mother?" I asked while she positioned  my shoulders back and my head up straight, " if we fail to come back in a year's time, promise me you'll take your place as queen and make peace with the Serdastians" She asked me looking me in the eyes " I promise mother" I promised to her. "Thank you" she said as I walked along the lines of the tiles with a book on my head.
