"Oh my God she's stunning." Blaine thought as Rachel sat next to him. For Blaine it was his first day at William McKinley High School because he was a transfer student, and new face to McKinley's Junior class

"Um why are you staring at me?" Rachel asked Blaine.

'Crap,' he hadn't realized he was staring at her. He panicked and said, "wha-what do you mean?"

"Well you're staring at me like you want to eat me or something." She replied, with his mind going places it probably shouldn't have when she answered but he calmly responded,

"What? Never had a boy look at you?" That made Rachel think. Nobody really ever checked her out. Well only Finn and Jesse had ever genuinely looked at her in that way. Puck had looked at her before in a similar way but it was only to try to get her into bed with him.

"Yes male students have checked me out before, not that it's any of your business." Rachel is a Cheerio, but just because she was a cheerleader didn't exactly mean that boys were throwing themselves at her feet. Rachel was beautiful in an untraditional way. She had a beautiful body, but the boys seemed to be more in to the "Head Bitch In Charge" attitude and a pretty face, but honestly she didn't really care.

"Calm down, it was a simple question." Blaine was taken aback by how defensive Rachel had answered him. "My name is Blaine. Blaine Anderson" he said while extending his hand out waiting for her to shake it.

"I'm sorry, Blaine. My name is Rachel Berry. I just have some trouble with boys."

She shook his hand 'how the hell did she have trouble with boys? She's absolutely beautiful ' he thought. "Hey, I should be apologizing for being kinda rude. I'm sorry Rachel."

"It's okay." She smiled at him and he smiled back. "You're new here right?" Rachel asked.

"Yeah, I transferred here from Dalton Academy." He answered.

"Why would you transfer to McKinley High? From what I've heard Dalton is one of the best schools in Ohio and to be quite frank McKinley is probably the worst."

"Well in order for somebody to attend Dalton they have to pay, and my dad he uh, he lost his job. My family was struggling with money so I decided not to go to Dalton anymore because I knew that my going there was partially the reason why we were having trouble with money. My dad tried to keep me at Dalton because he knew how much I loved it there, but I couldn't bare to stay there knowing that I'm the reason why my family is struggling." Blaine didn't know why but he felt like he could talk to her all day. He felt compelled to just tell her everything. His instincts told him that he could trust her.

"I'm sorry that this happened to you and your family,Blaine. We all have troubles with money, but the cool thing about that is it doesn't last forever. Proof of that is your dad has a stable job and you and your family are doing well now." She smiled at him and put his hand on his .

He felt flutters in his stomach right when she laid her hand on his. He looked at her and fell into a trance. 'so beautiful.' He thought and once again he was staring at her. There was a sparkle in his eyes every time he looked at her. The bell rang, signaling class was about to begin. They spent the rest of the class glancing at each other from the corner of their eyes when they thought the other wasn't looking. Neither one of them could keep their eyes off the other. The bell rang and it meant it was time to go their separate ways to different classes.

"Hey Blaine, what's your next class? I was thinking since you are new here and all that maybe I could walk you to it and I could show you around on our way there." She asked to walk him to class, not because she wanted to show him around, but to be near him.
