Lives two separate lives.

Modern day: she is a psychologist/spy and lives with the idea that she is more than what the eye perceives. She is experienced with guns, knives, potions & so on. Angelina is also very good with spells (she thinks she learned them from studying spell books but really it was instincts from the other realm).

Mal's realm: she is a protector/evil mistress whom yearns for power of her village. (I.e she lost possession of it when the King cursed her, making her turn to modern day. She was never evil. She was pure bliss when she ruled the village. . but the king brought the evil out of her. Hence why she is lost in modern day. She knows something isn't right with her but she never can figure out what she's missing or where she belongs.)

Backstory: Grew up in New York City with her younger sister Francisca (Fran for short). Her parents divorced when she was 6, her mother gaining full parental rights over her and Fran for 11 years but got remarried to Billie (their father) when she was about 20. As a teen, she was quite troubled. Got into drinking, drugs, parties etc. Her mother Atna didn't approve of her behavior. Not at all. The only way her mother could think to put an end to this behavior was by putting Angie in a rehabilitation hospital where she then spent 3 years with numerous doctors, giving her different diagnosis's; they diagnosed her with PTSD, DID (Dissociative identity disorder), among other things. What the doctors couldn't find out? The true source behind her 'mood swings' (what the doctors referred them to). Angie was the only person who could feel these changes. Her body sporadically changing. Aching sometimes. The most frequent changes that would occur are: her usual eye color would change from either a crystal blue color or pitch black. These changes were rather quick and were never detected by her doctors. She always felt a sense of authority among her peers in the hospital, hence how she managed to help them escape and/or figure out on her own how to escape. When she turned 20 years old, she managed to escape the hospital and thus, living on her own and getting her degree in psychology: hoping it would give her a better understanding of what her doctors were trying to figure out. Though, she never got enough information medically. For side commissions, she did modeling. It's safe to say she tries to keep herself busy to ignore the obvious challenges which are within her. She always thinks about it. What it could be. How would it change her life as she knows it. Angie isn't afraid of the possibility.
