After I got home I had run up to my room to get ready for the lake party, Sam was going with Miles and I was going to carpool with them, but I want to show off my car as well. I pull on my vest top, black skirt with white polka dots and red belt, along with my converse heels. I let my hair down, putting a bump on top, applying light make-up. Then I head ocer to Sam's room I can here him talking to Mojo, our stupid dog.
"All right, Mojo. I got the car. Now I need the girl. I need money to take out the girl is what I need. Zero bids. Great. Broke." I giggle quietly and slip 60 dollars into his wallet.
"Come on, Mojo. You want your pain pills?" He walks into his bathroom "Uh... No. Premature. Good. What's up? Nothing. You know, just driving my car. Driving my car." He sprays a breath freshner in to his mouth "It's like clockwork. All right, I know you get wasted on these things, but if you piss in my bed again, you're sleeping outside. Okay? That's it for today. No more. Crackhead." I burst out laughing at him giggling like crazy he spins around to see me standing in the door way "Ready to go hotshot?" "Shut up, lets go" we head outto see our parents in the yard doing yard work I walk onto the path and head over to mum who starts fawning over me.
"Ron, this one is uneven."
"Yeah. Probably."
"This one is wobbly."
"Yeah. I'll take care of that real soon."
"Couldn't we have hired a professional?"
"Ah, Sam..."
"What?"
"...I do not like footprints on my grass."
"What foot- there's no footprints."
"That's why I built my path. So why don't you go from my grass onto my path, okay?"
"It's family grass, Dad."
"Well, when you own your own grass, you'll understand. Why can't you be like you sister she's on the path." He walks onto the pathe and heads for his car when he stops to stare at Moj9
"This, this, I can't do it anymore."
"What?" Mum says looking completely lost
"You're putting girl jewelry on a boy dog. He's got enough self-esteem issues as a Chihuahua, Mom."
"That's his bling..." we head to our cars and she shouts after us "I want you home at eleven o'clock!"
"Yeah, all right." "Of course mummy."
"Eleven o'clock!"
"Please, for the love of God, drive safely." Sams starts up his car and black smoke billows out all over the place, I start up mine and some black smoke comes out but not a whole lot, she lets out a gasp and I pull out before Sam wheels squealing. Sam pulls up next to me 20 minutes later with miles in the passenger. I can here Miles talking
"Dude, are you sure we're invited to this party?" "Of course, Miles. It's a lake. Public property."
"Oh, my God. Oh, my God, dude, Mikaela's here. Just don't do anything weird, all right? I'm good, right?" " Sam just act cool okay now I need a drink." "Yeah, you're good."
"Okay."
"Hey, guys, check it out. Oh, hi. Hey, bro. That car. It's nice. Hey. So, what are you guys doing here?" Miles starts to climb a tree while I talk to Mikaela about my car we're planning on running a shop together.
"We're here to climb this tree."
"I see that. It looks- It looks fun."
"Yeah."
"You know, I thought I recognized you. You tried out for the football team last year, right?"
"Oh, no, no, no, that- No. That wasn't like a... real tryout. I was researching a book I was writing."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Yeah? What's it about? Sucking at sports?"
"Haha. No, it's about the link between brain damage and football. No, it's a- it's a good book. Your- Your friends'll love it. You know, it's got mazes in it and, you know, little coloring areas, sections, pop-up pictures. It's a lot of fun."
"That's funny." And heads for my brother Mikaela and I jump in front of them trying to prevent a fight.
"Okay, okay. You know what? Stop."
"Hey, guys, I know of a party. Let's go, let's head." Sam heads over to Miles and attempts to get him out of the tree.
"You got to get out of the tree right now. Get- just get out of the tree right now, please. What are you doing?"
"Did you see that dismount? All the chicks were watching."
"You're making me look like an idiot. We both looked like idiots just now." I over hear Mikki's conversation with Trent.
"Hey, how about you let me drive?"
"Oh, no. No, no, no. This is not a toy. These twenty-twos, I don't want you grinding them. No. Why doesn't my little bunny just hop in the back seat?"
"Oh. Oh God, I can't even tell you how much I'm not your little bunny." She walks off leaving Trent standing there gaping.
"Oh-kay. You'll call me."
"Who's gonna drive you home-"
"Hey, man, what's wrong with your radio?"
"-tonight?"
"I'm gonna drive her home tonight."
"What? She's an evil jock concubine, man. Let her hitchhike."
"She lives ten miles from here, okay? It's my only chance. You got to be understanding here, all right?"
"All right. We'll put her in the back. I'll be quiet."
"Did you say, "Put her in the back"?"
"I called shotgun."
"Miles, I'm not putting her in the back. You got to get out of my car."
"That's a party foul."
"What rules?"
"Our- bros before hos!"
"Miles, I'm begging you to get out of my car. Okay?"
"You- you can't do this to me."
"You got to get out of my car right now."
"Miles I'll give you a ride home okay and Sam go get your girl."
Miles get into my car and we take the care off speeding the opposite way of Sam and Mikki. Mikes tries to flirt with me but I shut him down quickly. We pull up out side his house and I kick him out of my car.
