What we are {Bakugou x Reader}

Goodnight Kisses

It's been a week since you shared your first kiss with Katsuki. He became a little distant and quiet around you. You became worried, but didn't want to be too pushy so you didn't ask about it. Until now.

~(Y/N)'s pov~

Today was a wreck. We had hero training today and let's just say that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I haven't been able to focus and I can't seem to chat with Bakugou. Then,  I passed out twice and broke two bones. Thank goodness the nurse was kind enough to heal me. Now I know how Izuku felt before he discovered legs. Well now I am at home and.... Oh, my phone buzzed.

Bakubabe💖: uh hey can we chat?

What!? The Fuck????

Uh yeah I guess so.... Is something wrong?? :SunshineBby

Bakubabe 💖: course not, but I can see why you thought that. I need you to come over quickly though

Wait... What!?

Oh, um alrighty then... I'll be there soon. Are you sure everything is okay? :SunshineBby

Bakubabe 💖: yeah, well no... please just come over

What could have happened.... I got dressed in some simple clothes. I put on a baggy shirt and tucked it into some sweat pants. I slid on some socks and walked next door. I knocked on the door and he opened it. I was then embraced in a sweet and passionate hug as he brought me in and shut the door behind me.

"Thank God you are here... I'm so sorry I was distant..." Bakugou said as he started to ramble on about how sorry he was.

"Woah there love, you are talking as fast as Midorya when fangirling about a new quirk. It's okay. You don't need to tell me if you don't want to, I trust you." I said with a sweet and soft smile.

He signed and decided to shake his head, "no I need to tell you.... it's just that..." and as he started to talk, tears swelled around his eyes. He sat on his bed as he started to cry.

  ~No ones POV~

At first you were stunned, how could such an overly confident person be so easily broken?! You then rushed to his side and hugged him. You rubbed his back as he cried.

"All of this... the attacks and All Might losing... and him having to save me... it's all my fault. I did this to him!" He sobbed, leaning onto you.

You truly didn't know what to say. You just held him as he cried. You didn't really know what he meant, or said since his words were mixed into his cries. All you could do was be there for him. 

"and I brought you into all of this.... I'm sorry for breaking and pouring everything on you... you don't deserve it... god I couldn't even help you when you were attacked by villains.... I'm so so sorry (Y/N)... you shouldn't even be with me..."

Your eyes widened, and then, you stood up, "Katsuki Bakugou! Look at me right this moment!" Your eyes had started to tear up. He looked up surprised at the sight of your tears, "How dare you say that! You deserve me as much as anyone else, Dare I say even more. If you think you are unworthy than no one else is... please Katsuki...I want you to be selfish with me.... keep me to yourself. I like you a lot okay! So don't give up on me yet! Okay? Stop being so idiotic!"

He looked stunned, the whole time, "(Y/N)..." Bakugou then pulled you into a tight hug, "if that's what you want... then okay, I'll stop being an idiot... I'm... sorry I said that..."

"Hell yeah it was dumb! The dumbest thing you've done yet," you responded. You hugged him and laughed softly when you replied.

You both stayed quiet as you enjoyed the hug, then he finally spoke.

"(Y/N)," he paused, "could you spend the night?" He asked looking away with a soft blush, definitely embarrassed about his ego being wracked because of this.

You smiled and rubbed his cheek, "Sure Katsuki."

After that you both climbed in his bed and fell asleep cuddling and spooning the night away.
