Zak:
I had never thought of chasing ghosts or even demons.
I had wanted to create film and movies to show what we already knew was there, but now I show people what they never have expected to see.
It has all started in my apartment in Michigan, where a woman has committed suicide in the bathtub. I had saw her shadow, I could feel her presence, and I could feel what she felt too.
I promise when I left there I would prove that ghosts were real.
I sit in my living room with Gracie. Gracie sits in the floor near the small stand, gnawing on a tennis ball, while I wait for the guys to come.
Knock knock
"Come in!" I yell and I hear the door creak open and I see Aaron's bald head.
"Dude! Guess what? We just got another place to investigate!"Aaron shouts and helps his fat ass to my pantry for food.
Have I ever mentioned how I love when people basically survive on my food that I buy?
Aaron grabs some Lays potato chips and brings them to the living room and sits in a rocking chair in front of me.
I take a sip of my water that is on the table. "So where is this place and what are the details?" I ask, even though Jay and Billy are not here yet.
Aaron takes this moment to stuff another hand full of chips in his mouth and sprinkles crumbs all along his hoodie.
I raise my eyebrows and he quickly wipes them into my recently cleaned rug.
Joy.
"It's here in Las Vegas," he chews with his mouth open and swallows, "It's a museum, and based on what Jay told me bro, it's wicked, like the woman the museum is for haunts the place and so does her husband. They bite, pinch, poke, you name it!" Aaron pats Gracie, who wage her tail in delight.
"So.." I begin and I hear another knock.
"Come in!" Aaron yells.
"Thanks Aaron I love when my guests invite other guests into my home." I say and he laughs.
Billy and Jay walk in and set a bunch in papers in the coffee table. Jay sits on the floor with Gracie and Billy sits next to me.
I clap my hands, "What's going on here guys?" I get down to business.
Jay picks up the papers and starts going through them. "The museum was made in 1985 for a 1800s writer named Ada Cuttle, basically like a Charlotte Bronte, but in America." Jay looks up to see us all have blank faces.
Aaron raises his hand.
Jay sighs, "yes, Aaron?"
"Was she the one that wrote Frankenstein?"
Jay looks at all of us and shakes his head, "No, Aaron. Anyway" he says, " she was a nice women, made a lot of great books, but her husband got tired of her and cheated in her with another woman. Ada found this out and killed herself and the husband later died in the house of old age, but it is said their souls still live there."
"So, the woman killed herself and the house died naturally. What happens here?" I ask.
"Well,"Billy says, " we were reached out by a woman named Andrea who is a curator there, and she says the staff, especially one staff member is constantly.... touched." Billy stumbles.
"Like how?"
"Touched in the butt, slapped, pinched." Aaron says.
"Now," I say slowly, " I wonder what spit does what."
" I think the more perverted stuff is the horny man and the mean stuff is the woman." Jay assumes.
"Yes! The man must just be horny and the woman must think this girl is the husband's mistress!" I exclaim and Billy and I high five each other.
"So when do we go?"
" Tomorrow." Jay says.
We all get up and I walk everyone out, first Jay, then Billy and finally Aaron.
"Bro, So you want your chips back?" He asks.
I look at the few crumbs in the bottom.
"You know what man? You should keep them." I roll my eyes.
" thanks!" And he leaves and I got back to Gracie who is sleeping.
"Wanna go for a walk?" And she perks up, and I got to get her leash when I hear the door again.
"Come in!"
"Zak guess what the mistresses name was?"
"What?"
"Mary!"
I shrug, "So?"
"that's the name of the staff member that is attacked all the time!"
