I'm visiting my family for Christmas, so we were at a restaurant, and my brother and I were speaking mostly with my dad, then at one point my brother asks my dad, "smash or pass: Yoko Ono"

My dad didn't know what that meant! So he assumed that smash meant destroy or something along those lines, so he said smash! 

Then we ended up explaining what it meant, and he was like, "No, that's not what I meant! I want to change my answer please!" he was all proper and calm about it.

Another thing that happened was that I FINALLY got my mum to watch Help with me! While we were watching she said, "You know, it's strange" and I was like, "What is?" and she said, "None of them were attractive yet everyone seemed to fall in love with them." At that moment I just said "hmm I guess..." but in my mind I was like, "What????"

I THINK I HAVE A FEW PIECES OF EVIDENCE THAT GO AGAINST THAT STATEMENT MOTHER!
