The first thing Kokichi felt was pain, distinctly in his head. He sat up and immediately began searching for Shuichi. Then a figure ran past him, Shuichi following in suite.
Kokichi gasped and ran after them, they weaved between broken buildings and fiery allies, until Shuichi stopped. "I'm sorry Kokichi! I'm sorry!"
The figure then disappeared, and Kokichi walked up to Shuichi who was on the ground sobbing. Kokichi placed a hand on his shoulder and captured the blunette in a hug, "What are you sorry for?"
Shuichi pulled away from him, "I-I w-watched---" Kokichi put a finger to his lips, "I am dead you're not wrong, but something kinda weird happened."
Shuichi stared at him intently, "So you see...? How do I explain this!" He said frustratedly, "Well I kinda woke up in my coffin and now I'm a poltergeist! Amazing right~! And the only person who can see me right now is Himiko, so what she was saying was true. I need to figure out how to reveal myself to the others, before anyone will be able to see me. So ya~"
"So you're the real Kokichi?" Shuichi asked grabbing the poltergeist's shoulders, Kokichi nodded. Then Shuichi smiled and pulled Kokichi into a hug, "I'm so glad you're okay..."
Kokichi gratefully hugged back, "We should probably get out of here." Kokichi said looking around the alleyway. Shuichi nodded and they walked hand in hand out of the nightmare.

Kokichi was sitting in Shuichi's lap laying back into his embrace, "Shuichi I have a question to ask you." Shuichi hummed a response, "How did I die?"
The blunette tensed, "Some guy with a gun was walking down the street, he was really drunk, we were told that he just went up to you and pulled the trigger." Kokichi frowned then gasped, he could feel the memories return to him. The wet sidewalk and the pouring rain, how he had apologized for running into the man but in return was shot. The pain he felt after being shot in the stomach.
He didn't even realize he was quivering until Shuichi tightened his hug. "Y-you're remembering aren't you..." Kokichi nodded, "It's okay." He murmured, "I needed to know anyway..."
Shuichi jumped at a sudden sound, the distinct ring of an alarm clock. "Times up..." Kokichi murmured, Shuichi tighted his grip on Kokichi, "I don't want to leave!"
Kokichi smiled gently, "I'll see you later." And then he put a gentle kiss on Shuichi's lips. As everything faded into a blinding white, Kokichi couldn't help but feel completed.

Shuichi opened his eyes to see a purple haired male clinging to him, he places a hand on his cheek. K-Kokichi!" But he recoiled, the boy's skin was deathly cold.
Kokichi yawns and hops off of Shuichi, "Well that was fun~" He turns around to see the blunette's mouth agape as he stared right at him. "What are you staring at~?" Kokichi asks, "I-I... y-you..." Then it suddenly clicks, "You can see me~!"
Shuichi nodded, "S-so it wasn't a dream?" Kokichi glared at him, "I already told you it wasn't in your dream state!"
"W-well how was I exposed to know?!"
"You could've just trusted me!"
"B-but you're a liar!"
Kokichi put a finger to his lips, "Well~ I suppose you're right~" Then he smirked, "Happy to see me Saihara-Chan~?"
Shuichi nodded and tackled Kokichi into a hug. "Wow so forward Saihara-Chan~" Kokichi teased, leaving the said boy a bit flustered. At least until he connected lips with the poltergeist.
Shuichi pushed the ghost up against the wall and placed his hand on his hips. Kokichi wrapped his arms around Saihara's neck and kissed him back, by the time they were done both of the boys were a crimson red.
Kokichi giggled, "Imagine if Kaito or Kaede walked in, you'd look insane~!" Shuichi blushed, "Y-you're right, I'm glad they didn't..."
"We should probably meet the group for breakfast, well I mean you should..." Kokichi said with a sad smile, "I can join you but the only ones that'll be able to see me are you and Himiko."
Shuichi frowned, "There has to be something we can do to make them see you..." Kokichi shrugged, "Probably, but if we don't leave now you'll be late for breakfast~" Shuichi nodded and the pair walked to the cafeteria, meeting Himiko and Tenko along the way.
"Shuichi! My magic compels you to stop!" Himiko yelled, panting as she ran up to him. Tenko was walking behind them, still keeping an eye on Shuichi, but not coming any closer.
"How are you coping?" Himiko asked, trying not to overstep any boundaries. Shuichi smiled at her thoughtfully, "Much better." Kokichi looked back at them and smiled, "He's doing better because of me~" Himiko glared at him then turned towards Shuichi, "I'm sure he'd be happy you're moving on."
Shuichi chuckled, "You can see Kokichi right?" Himiko nodded slowly, "Well so can I."
Himiko gave him a shocked look, "Y-you can see the purple gremlin?!" Kokichi glared at her, "Hey!" Shuichi gave him an affectionate glance and nodded at Himiko. "H-how?" Shuichi turned to the poltergeist, "Sooo you wanna know my secret huh~? Fine, meet me in the library at 1 and you'll get your answers~" Then Kokichi skipped down the corridor and disappeared.
"Why one?" Himiko asked, Shuichi shrugged. "I don't know but I need answers so I'll be there." Himiko nodded and waved, "See ya then!" And walked back to Tenko.
Shuichi arrived at the cafeteria, where he was questioned for being so late. He told everyone he was talking with Himiko then made some breakfast, it was going to be a long three hours.
