Chapter One: Things..happen
Elsie's Pov
It all started with a complaint.
Just one complaint.
That changed our lives forever.
"I'm bored," my friend complained one day in class.
I shrugged. "Nothing I can do about that."
"The what should we do?"
"Pay attention in class, that's what." I continued to take notes.
"Come on, let's do something fun! It's not just school that's boring, there's nothing to do after school either."
"What do you want me to do about it?"
"I don't know..I was thinking we.could make some sort of gathering..."
"...Like...?"
"Somewhere we could have fun, you know?"
Sam's pov
I nibbled on the end of my pen with a pout.
"It's just so..unending. Nothing new excpet for our anime and manga chapters coming out."
She rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on! Don't tell me you haven't been feeling bored lately too!"
She sighed. "I can't say bored." She explained.
I huffed.
"Your just trying not to admit the truth!" I explained in a dramatic fashion while pointing my chew up pen at her.
"Give it up! Reveal the truth! Hiding makes you rot inside!"
Elsie's pov
"I've actually been spending my time wisely. Why don't you spend all that extra time of yours to study or something?" I suggested wearily.
"No! I meant something fun."
"Don't ask me. I've only got my grades and I."
"You're hopeless. Come in, just say that you're bored."
"I'm bored. Happy?"
"Say it with more enthusiasm, or else it will seem as though you're lying."
"But I am. You just told me to say it."
She frowned. "You know that's not what I meant."
"Then at least let me concentrate on the lesson."
Sam's pov
I huffed.
"But this is so boring!" I whined. "I hate math..."
She snorted. "With you, hate is an understatement with how you feel for this subject." she deadpanned.
I grinned.
"You know me so well!~" I chirped.
She sighed. "What can I do to get you to let me work?"
I gave a devious smirk, my dark brown eyes glinting with mischief.
"Ohh!~" I purred. "You let me spend the night at your house!~"
