The love of my life

(Y/N) laid in bed looking around. She didn't quite know what to do. She was failing her classes, her family wasn't supportive, she lost all of her friends. For what? For love. She's only felt love like this one other time in her life. Her older brother's best friend. He was kind to her, he acted out of what she thought was love. He would hold her and tell her all of these sweet things. He only wanted one thing though, which was sex. Once he got that he left. It haunts her to think about. Tate notices the look on her face and feels a deep sorrow, she never told him this story but he could tell something was wrong. He sat down next her as she laid quietly in bed. Remembering the past, it was hard for her as she tried to hold back tears and looked at Tate with a weak smile. They didn't need words for this moment, he pushes her hair back softly as he lightly runs his fingers through her hair. He kissed her forehead softly, knowing she wouldn't cry on front of him. He closed his eyes and looked away.
"It's okay (y/n) I'm not looking..." he smiles softly with his eyes closed. He didn't want to see her cry either.
(Y/n) sat up and hugged him, "I truly love you. You have only been sweet to me Tate, but you aren't the first. The first lead me to you. He was the love of my life or so I thought. The memory of my family hating me and the memory of him leaving is something of a past chapter. You make the pain go away. You are my new chapter."
He smiles as he hugs her, taking a small sniff of her hair.
"(Y/n) it's okay. We have a first love for a reason. They show us what we do and what we don't want in people. You truly understand me. I wish for you the best, don't skip school anymore love, for us, please keep growing and I shall grow with you."
She looks back and puts a hand on his face, "Tate, thank you. You're all I've ever wanted. We will figure our life together as it goes but for now, let's just be together."
He held her tightly as he kissed the side of her head. "(Y/n) let me show you how much I love you." He slowly laid her back down on the bed and gave her sweet sensual kisses from her lips down to her neck.
