Lafayette turned back to Alexander with a smile.

"So. You wanna be apart of our group?"

Alex nodded slowly and looked at Lafayette. He wasn't exactly sure if he should be apart of the group from the trouble he'd seen Lafayette and Hercules get into.

"Cool! Alrighty. So, Hercules is the mother of the group, if you haven't already noticed. John is the gay cinnamon roll. I'm the guns to our group and I feel as though you're the brains. Correct?" Lafayette smirked.

"I guess." Alex replied with smoothly.

Lafayette started to walk, no, more like run, toward where the building was. Alexander chases after him to join him. Lafayette and Alexander got there just at Hercules was. There was a small roof like thing outside of the doorway. It wasn't the main doorway but a side doorway that they normally used for delivery to the school. Hercules couldn't open the door so Lafayette had to. Once the door was opened They walked in but Hercules stopped and looked at John who was still in his arms and put him down. Poor John was still shivering.

"Are you okay enough to walk?" Hercules held John up.

"I- I- Yes..." John shivered down.

Hercules looked at Alexander. "Hey Alex? Can you hold John up?" He turned to John. "I swear you have frost bite on your legs."

"But it's nearly March!!" John argued.

"Still Winter till March. That what my mom says!" Hercules looked at John.

John rolled his eyes and Alex walked over to John and put an arm around John to keep him up. It was no surprise John had bruises on his legs from sliding into lockers, gripping on his own two feet, and bullies kicking him. Those bruises seemed to just make the icy rain and cold weather break his legs, almost. Lafayette rushes them to the nurses office. Once there they wrote John's name down and set him down on one of the empty chairs. Lafayette left the note with John and left. Hercules looked over at Alex.

"Can you stay and watch him?? He need someone to watch over him and... I just like watching Lafayette roast Thomas Jefferson in French." Hercules smiled before starting to leave. Alex nodded and Hercules completely left.

It wasn't till another minute when someone else opened the door. It was Eliza. The most popular and beautiful girl in the school. Or, grade level. Eliza was holding her arm and looked around the room till her gaze meet John and Alex. She started to march on over with more of a strut to her walk. Then she stopped and looked at Alex and John.

"What are you two here for?" Eliza had more of a sweet tone to her voice but her presence made Alex uneasy.

"W-were j-j-Just h-here b-be c-caus-" John started in shivered before Eliza shushed him.

"Not talking to you Gay prince. I'm talking to the nooby." Eliza looked at Alex. "Your Alex, aren't cha? Hey! I know! How about we meet up later today? Just to get to know each other."

Alexander felt his face get red till the sound of John's now very bad cough smacked him in the face. Alex looked over at John and sighed.

"Sorry, Eliza. But right now I'm more worried about John. He's not-" Alex started.

"Oh oh! I'm sorry. Maybe some other time?" Eliza smiled kindly at Alex.

"How about Friday?" Alex asked.

"Friday sounds good!" Eliza smiled.

John looked at Alex with a slumped, shivering posture and had wrapped his arms around himself. Alex looked at John before wrapping his arms around John. Icy Cold. Alex was worried for John. What if something was wrong? Like, very wrong. Suddenly the nurse walked out and looked at the clipboard before looking around the room.

"John Laurens?"

"T-t-th-that's m-me!" John spoke shakingly.

The nurse let out a sigh. "Okay. Come here John."

John stood shakingly before he rushed over to the nurse. The nurse put a gentle hand on John and helped him into the main room. Alexander sat and waited. What was to happen to John?
