This was it. Kenzie had finally invited you over. This was your chance to finally make something happen. He said his parents were out of town for a week. You were so excited. 

It was almost 2 pm. You were so ready to go. You decided you best get there early. Never be late. Not for something as important as this. 

What you didn't realize was that Kenzie had invited other people over. He had invited three of his best friends. You thought you were his only best friend. That he didn't have anyone else who were his best friends. 

You arrive at Kenzie's house at 2 pm sharp. There are no other cars. Phew. You didn't have to panic. Yet. You wondered how long it would be till these other people turned up. Maybe you should make a move before everyone else gets there. 

"Kenz-". The doorbell rings. What luck. He invites three people inside into his house. Their names were: Connor, considered to be the leader of the group called "The Benchers", he was tall and had dark curly hair. Amy, Connor's girlfriend and Kenzie's ex both of whom are still good friends. Katie, the small "anorexic" one, the one who appeared to be the most threat to you.

"What were you saying, Callum?" 

"It doesn't matter now" You reply in a slightly pissed off tone.

Kenzie went in the kitchen to make everyone a drink. You sat there studying everyone's body language as Kenzie came back in the room. Katie was sat next to Kenzie so she obviously likes him, you thought to yourself. Or maybe you were just jealous that Kenzie had other people in his life. Like female friends. No, you were definitely sure that Katie liked Kenzie. You were sure that Amy was after Kenzie, even though she only had eyes for Connor. Connor was also sat next to Kenzie, but you thought, "Connor isn't gay he's with Amy so Connor poses no threat to me. Katie is MY biggest problem."

Everyone gathered around the fire for a game of monopoly, except you of course. You decided to sit it out and study Amy and Katie's body language. No surprises that Katie decided to sit next to Kenzie. You decided to say something about it. 

"Katie, why are you sat next to Kenzie may I ask?"

"He's my friend where else do you expect me to sit?"

"Oh, I don't know. NEXT TO AMY PERHAPS?!"

"But then Amy would be next to Kenzie, her ex, and not Connor her boyfriend who she loves?"

"FINE SIT THERE THEN!"

"K cheers mate."

You were severely pissed off. You now had evidence that she liked him. Everyone was sat there playing monopoly, apart from you. They'd been playing monopoly for over an hour, you were getting bored. Katie was the banker and had the horse piece. Kenzie had decided to just send himself to jail straight away, he had the shoe piece. Amy was going over all the rules, except she had the rule book upside down, she had the ironer piece. And Connor. Well, let's just say he started trying to eat all the houses. Connor had the car piece. He also got pissed off and flipped the board over so everyone had to start over again. Amy and Katie had collected the most houses, which was not a surprise at all. You decided to go into the kitchen and get some food and a drink. He spots something strange in the cupboard. You walk out of the kitchen and say "Hey Kenzie you forgot your dil- oh you're all STILL playing monopoly." 

You thought to yourself, "So there are three people in his life and there's a dildo in the cupboard. Crap." 

You hear another knock at the door. Oh no. Not more people. It was Kieran. The biggest nobhead of this generation. Kieran was a twat. He even acted like one. He thought he was all this and all that. The problem was you, Amy and Katie didn't like Kieran but he was Connor and Kenzie's best mate. You, Amy and Katie all look at each with shock and disbelief. Who invited Kieran over? Kieran was giving Kenzie a long hug. Katie decided to break the hug up. That's when you came out of nowhere and dragged her to the floor and beat her up. Why was she breaking the hug up? That was your job. You started screaming.

"YOU BITCH WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT WHY?" Katie couldn't answer, she was coughing and spitting up blood. "WHY THOUGH?" You were still punching her face and you'd somehow broken her arm. She was screaming with pain. What had you done? Kenzie and Amy pulled you away from her. Kenzie was talking to you, "Why did you do that Callum? Why? Now I've got to drive her to A&E. Well done. You'll be lucky if she forgives you for randomly beating her up. She's one of my best friends, can't you see that hurting her physically hurts me emotionally. Just like if she had beaten you up I'd be hurt emotionally." 

This hangout had gone great. He invited other people over. He got pissed off at you. He didn't make any time for you. You had beaten up one of his best friends. You hurt him emotionally. And, you may have just lost him.
