*Lucy's POV*

"Susan!"I call.
"Yes?"she yells back.
"I was wondering, could we maybe visit Narnia today?"I ask. She comes around the corner and stands in the doorway to our room.
"Why?"she asks. I shrug my shoulders.
"I just feel like it, I guess."
Susan rolls her eyes.
"We can't just go to Narnia. We have to be called."
"I know that silly."I say.
"But we can at least try to go."I suggest.
"Where are the boys?"she changes the subject.
"Outside. They were arguing about something."I say.
"I think they were trying to decide the better pitcher out of the two."I continue.
"Alright, we'll ask them if they want to join us."She says.
I get up off of my bed and follow her out the front door. Peter is laughing at Edmund who is running after the ball as it rolls into the woods.
"Peter, we're wondering of you wanted to go to Narnia today."I ask.
"We can't."He says.
"Besides, I've gotten to teach Edmund here how to throw a ball."He continues as Edmund comes back, tossing the baseball back and forth between his hands. "You haven't got anything to teach me!"Edmund shouts.
"Where're you wanting to go anyway?"he turns to Susan.
"I'm not wanting to go anywhere. It's Lucy."She turns to me, as do Peter and Edmund.
"I wanted to go to Narnia."I say.
"Okay."Says Peter shortly.
"When are we leaving?"adds Edmund.
"I'm not so sure about this."Susan says. "We can't just go to Narnia."
"Stop worrying Susan!"Peter chuckles. "We'll be fine"

*Eustace's POV*
"I'm coming mother!"I yell back to her. I'm laying on my bed, writing a journal entry:
The new boy across the street is just retched. He's constantly playing basketball and I quite frankly wonder if he even ever sleeps. All I hear is the awful sound of the ball. Even late at night I lay awake trying to ignore the blasted thing. But, there's this new girl at school! Shes so-

"Eustace!"
"Coming!"I call back.
"Come here-it's your cousins!"
I sigh and get up from my bed.
She's holding the phone out to me.
"Hello?"I ask when she's gone into the living room.
"Eustace!"Susan says.
"Yes, that's me."
"We we're wondering...if you wanted to come to Narnia with us?"She asks. I ponder with this thought for a moment.
"How're you getting there?"I ask. "Well, you see...We don't exactly-"she starts.
"I'm in."I say.
"What? Really!?"Lucy's voice comes onto the line.
"Well-did you expect for me to say no? And still called me anyway?"I ask. There's silence for a second. "When will we be going?"I ask. "Right now would be great. Peter is on his way"

\

*Peter's POV*

"EUSTACE!"I yell.
"WE NEED TO HURRY!"
"I'm coming, hold your horses a moment."He says, walking into the room.
I shake my head. "What're you wearing?"
He's got a huge raincoat on and an umbrella in one of his hands, his journal in the other.
"Last time we went, I didn't have such a swell time with the water."He says.
I laugh, remembering how he got seasick aboard the ship.
"Come on then."

Once we get back to the house, everyone is everywhere; Susan is handing out light jackets, Edmund is reading over something on the couch, and Lucy is getting snacks for everybody.
"We're here."Eustace announces.
"Oh, Eustace!"Lucy cries, throwing herself towards him. Eustace stumbles back.
"Lucy."He nods.

"Alright. I give up, we've been at it for ages and haven't made any sort of progress!"Edmund whines.
"I can't take it anymore."Eustace sits on a rock.
We're in the forest.
"We've only been walking for 10 minutes."I sigh. "You all act like you're dying."
"Ten minutes?!"Edmund says hoarsely.
"Come on guys!"Susan shouts from up ahead. "We've almost made it!"

*Susan's POV*
"Almost made it to what?"Lucy asks beside me. I look down at her.
"Nowhere. I just said it to make them enthusiastic."
She laughs.
"Enthusiastic? What does that mean?"She asks.
"It means- enthusiastic" I laugh.
"I don't know how to describe it."
Lucy's eyes sparkle when she laughs again.
"C'mon boys!"She yells to the guys behind us.
"Ugh."I here Edmund and Eustace groan in unison.

All of a sudden I see something shimmer in the distance.
"We're almost there!"I say triumphantly.
As we get closer I see it. It looks like some sort of...portal?
"What is is?"Peter asks, coming up beside me.
"I don't know.."I shrug my shoulders.
"It looks like a passage."Eustace says.
"Let's go."Edmund says, taking a step towards it.
"Wait."Peter holds out an arm to stop him, but he shoves it off.
"What?"He demands.
"It could be danger-"But before he can finish, all you can see is Edmund's foot disappearing with the rest of his body into the portal.
"EDMUND!"Peter yells.
"Why doesn't he listen to me?"He asks.
"I don't know. But we ought to go and make sure he's alright."Lucy says as she goes into the hole after Edmund. I shrug my shoulders.
"What do we have to lose?"And I hop into it to follow Lucy.
As I go in, I hear Eustace reply to my question: "Our lives!"
