Take It From The Top
~~~~~Narrator POV~~~~~
You were just finishing drying the last glass after doing the dishes when you felt a sinking, sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach causing you to drop the fragile object in your hands. You'd felt this feeling before, but you hoped you were wrong. You were so distracted by the horrifying thought in your head that you didn't register the sound of glass shattering on the floor or the shards nicking your skin.
Today was the day the person you loved most, Katsuki Bakugou, was going to end up fighting villains at the USJ. He had absolutely kicked ass that day in the anime and you hadn't encountered any problems there in previous timelines, so you had every confidence in him to take care of himself. Sadly, if the feeling in your gut was any indication, you were dead wrong, and there was a high possibility of that. An enclosed space full of dangerous villains and an endless amount of variables leaves Katsuki vulnerable. Not to say he's weak, quite the opposite. Those types of low level villains are more likely to gang up on stronger opponents. He can easily handle several, but given enough obstacles, everyone falls.
Ignoring the glass shards on the ground, you run out the door, injuring yourself more in the process and use your quirk to excel your running speed to inhuman levels. On your way to the USJ, you speed past Iida on his way back to save the rest of his class with the pro heroes and police. There is clear shock on their faces from seeing a blurred figure easily surpass them at their fastest pace.
As you ran you scolded yourself for being so careless. You're usually so careful. Every slip up is another timeline reset and another pain in your ass. You see, your quirk can give you control over almost all of time and space, but the problem is that it's inherently tied to everything you feel(more feeling = more power). This means to be able to use it for anything worthwhile, you have to be feeling intense emotions. For most people, this wouldn't be a problem, but after your first few resets you became rather apathetic. At first, every time Katsuki died, you would feel more and more numb towards everything that didn't involve protecting him. All your repressed emotions tend to resurface upon seeing or confirming his death.
Despite countless resettings of the timeline and in turn countless lifetimes, you've never quite gotten a handle on your quirk. This means you use it to an all or nothing extent most of the time. You've definitely improved your control over it, but you can't necessarily do much without a major emotional output. At this exact moment, your existential dread is what was fueling your quirk and allowing you to perform these amazing feats.
After forcing the doors to the USJ open with a deafening boom, you stood still in the doorway for just a moment, taking in the sight of the dome for a moment before looking to the center to see all eyes on you. Not wasting another moment, you rush to the middle of the action, shocking those around you with your speed.
Shigaraki is the first to speak.
"It would seem we have a new player. Tell me little girl, what's your name?"
"Fuck off Shigaraki, I'm not here for you."
"How do you know my name?! Nomu, get her!"
~~~~~(Y/N)POV~~~~~
I easily dodge Nomu's attack as it looks as if it's in slow motion with my fear, anger, and impatience all fueling my power. I move faster than the others register, leading them to believe the Nomu struck me due to the clouds of dust obstructing my previous and current positions from their line of vision.
"No! How could you?! That girl was just a child!"
"She was rude to me, the girl got what she deserved."
