I feel very unmotivated.

Therefore, I will be editing this...later.

"You two were in there for a while." Dakota raises a skeptical brow at us as we walk down the stairs.

I look back at Winter who follows close behind me. "He told me about Vanessa." I explain.

"Ah." My brothers mouth opens. "Yeah she sounds like a real bundle of joy." He says sarcastically.

I release a dark chuckle. "Yeah I'd definitely describe her as that...a good ole bundle of joy."

Winter shoves me gently with his shoulder as we set foot at the end of the stairs. "You guys act as if she's an ax murderer or something." He laughs.

"Maybe she is, who knows?" Dakota smirks.

"Shut up." Winter laughs beside me. My eyes widen slightly when his hand is placed on my lower back, pushing me forward into the living room.

My brother sucks in a dramatic gasp. "Sam, good boyfriend just told me to shut up. What are you going to do to defend my honor?" He asks me.

I bite the inside of my cheek in annoyance. "He's not my - "

"Official boyfriend." An arm is thrown over my shoulders.

"What are you going on about?" I shove his arm away with a small smile.

He gives me a serious look. "So what just happened in there meant nothing?"

I catch on, feeling bored of his games with my brother but sighing and replying with, "Pray tell what you speak of."

He gives me a weird look. "You're no fun."

"I'm still confused." Dakota murmurs.

Winter sends me a smirk and my eyes narrow in suspicion. "Your sister was all over me in there, man. That's all I'm saying."

My mouth drops open. "Winter! You're such a liar. I was not." My cheeks burn.

"I always knew your true colors would show eventually." Dakota sighs, kicking his feet up onto to table and resting his hands behind his head.

"You guys are buttholes."

"Woah, Sam, over here using the big girl words are we?" The smug boy next to me nudges me again. I grunt as I use all the strength I can muster to push him to the side but all that occurs is his feet stumbling once over one another.

"Real cute." Winter he ruffles my hair, earning a glare from me. "Maybe try running from the opposite direction next time?" He gives me a patronizing pat on the back.
