Chippy Chap 2

A/N: I will be keeping the necklace idea from the Christmas chapter but you can always change the design of it to your liking. Also I now have rankings! I'm very proud of that :) Anyway back to the story.

It's been about a week since I moved into my new home with my "dad". It was pretty awkward all week, he still goes out and does All Might work but only for a couple hours then he comes home and we, how do I put this nicely, "Try" to hang out. normally when we hang out I usually end up just studying or reading a book. I've noticed that Mighty-dad likes to watch TV a lot and like almost anything so he's a pretty easy going guy. 

I wake up gasping for air feeling like someone was choking me in my sleep,"It happened again," I've been having nightmares every night for the past week and now it's starting to get on my nerves. "UGH I JUST WANT TO SLEEP," I whisper yell to myself while scratching my head. I turn and grab my phone turning it on blinding myself, I wait for my eyes to adjust and see that it's 4:38 in the morning. I just lay there playing on my phone, I'm glad that mighty-dad bought it for me but I feel bad about accepting it.

Flash Back

"Y/N! Can you come down here for a second, I have something that I want to give you." I can hear Mighty-Dad yelling up the stairs.

I get up from my chair swing, throw my book on it, and quickly walk down the hallway to the stairs. As I start walking down the stairs I see him with a bright smile, whatever it is he must be excited about giving it to me."What do you need Mighty-dad?"

"Mighty-Dad huh?" he asked with a big grin on his face, I just simply smile and give a slight nod. we stand there for a minute, I think he was admiring the nickname I had given him. He then hand me a phone, I look at him a little confused," That's for you so when your out training or when you start school you can keep in touch with me and your friends, I've already put mine and Shota's numbers in there."

"It's amazing but I-I can't accept this," I say slowly handing it back with a slight smile."You've already given me so much and this would be too much." I say looking at the ground in front of the last step being as I was still standing on the last step.

"Y/n don't worry about it, I'm your Father and honestly I have a lot that I have to still make up for," Oh no I made him sad, Y/N why didn't you just accept the stupid gift.

"Okay, I'll accept the gift," I say grabbing the phone slowly from his hand,"Thank you Mighty-dad." I give a smile to let him know it's okay, and he just smile in return.

End Of Flash Back

Well it did make him happy that I accepted it and I do really like it, so I guess it's a win-win situation. I didn't even notice how long I was spaced out when I looked at the time again it was 5:12, I quickly jump up and go take a shower. When I get out of the shower it's 5:28 and I get dressed in some grey joggers and a baggy black top. I walk down stairs while drying my hair with a towel and decided I would make my dad some breakfast before I head out. I make some french toast and eggs and place a plate on the table. I then run upstairs to find that dad was already walking down stairs.

"Good Morning dad I made you some breakfast it's on the table, I'm gonna eat then head out," He smiled and nodded as we walk to the table both sitting there in silence, all you can hear in the room was the sounds of the forks hitting the plates and us chewing. 

This is awkward no matter how I look at it, should I start a conversation? My thoughts were then interrupted by Mighty-Dad,"So I'm gonna walk around the city today, just text me if you need anything okay."

"Okay dad I will, I'm gonna train a bit and visit Lily at the hospital, maybe do a bit of shopping." I look at him for his approval and he just nods while stuffing his face with food, I quickly finish my mine and rinse both of our dishes in the sink. "Bye Dad have fun at work, See you later," I give him a wave, put my shoes on, put my headphones in my ears, Grab my backpack, and start jogging out the door. 

7:30 AM, I've been jogging for 1 hour and 30 minutes, my playlist finally ended which means no more running. I look around and realize....... I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM! I guess I'll just pull out my phone and head to the hospital to see Lily. 30 minute walk......I'll get some food on the way

I stop at a pizza place and get a slice of pizza, yeah this is a great thing to eat after working out and it has all of the food groups, I just laugh at my thoughts knowing how incredibly wrong I was. I sit at a table and begin eating my food when this little boy walks up to me.

"Miss is it alright if I use your phone to call my mom," He looks down at the floor with tears in his eyes,"I was walking with Mommy but I don't know where she went."

Aww his so cute,"Of course you can, do you know her number?" I say while pulling out my phone from my backpack.

"Mommy said if anything ever happens to call 911," He has so much pride in his voice.

"I don't know about that, but your mom couldn't have gone far how about we go look for her okay?"

"OKAY LET'S GO!"

We leave the pizza place hand in hand, my poor pizza I'm sorry I couldn't finish you but we will meet again. "Whats your name?"

"I'm Alex and one day when I'm a hero people will call me Mighty Boy," he said throwing his fist up into the air. I guess he's a fan of All Might then, if only he knew, I chuckle a bit.

"So you want to be a hero then, you must be very brave," I say smiling at him

"Of course I am because I'm MIGHTY BOY!" That's the spirit kid, your gonna make a great hero. I look in front of us and see a woman frantically looking for something, I'm gonna guess that's his mother. "MOMMY!" he let's go of my hand and runs to her giving her a big hug.

"Where were you, I've told you many time not to wander off by yourself," I walk up to them when he looks back at me.

"Thank you Miss, I found my Mommy thanks to you." I smile

She begins to grab my hands and bowing to thank me continuously "It's alright really no need to thank me as a future hero I help those in need," I give her a bright smile

"You will make an amazing hero, thank you so much I'll never forget this," she says letting go of my hand. She then walks off with her son and I just stand there smiling like and idiot, I then turn to continue on with my day. 

Next stop the hospital........
