Friday...
This morning I woke up and did my happy dance. Today is my hockey tryouts after school. I finally get to back on the ice.
As always for me food comes first so I went down stairs ate some Toast and headed back up.
I enter my closet to find something to wear. I end up wearing a white t-shirt that says "honey" in red and high waisted black jean shorts With a belt. and I put some high top black converse with it.
I pretty much do my hair the same way messy bun on my own time or a ponytail everywhere else. So I just went with the usual ponytail and put a yellow velvet Scrunchie.
I had like an extra half hour before we had to leave so I grabbed my hockey bag and packed it with every thing I need.
"Meg,tor come on let's go" I yelled so they could here me "sorry we're almost ready" they said I roll my eyes. The twins always take forever to get ready. But it makes sense since there routines are so complicated and long! Makeup,hair,outfits seems simple but for them it's very complex. "K lets go" tori said heading out the door. But in the end they always looked very pretty and presentable. However they don't need any makeup or anything like that to look pretty it's non sense. But it's whatever makes them happy right ?
School...(ew)
My sisters had already made a solid group of friends. They have always been pretty social me not so much. Sure if someone else makes an effort I'll most likely give in. But it's unlikely to see me putting my self out there, it's a trait I'm not always proud of.
When my sisters went to there friends I was alone I hadn't made any friends yet. Except for gabby but I only saw her in 2nd period and in the mornings she would hang out with other friends and I didn't want to interrupt. So I just went inside the school.
First period...
I walk into the class and sit down. Math is my first class and it's algebra something I'm ok at. So as soon as I get my work I do it some people were not doing there work and I don't blame them it's boring as hell. But at least I'd get my work done and over with.
Obviously we had a lesson and some help because it was like ten times harder then grade 8 math!
"Hello Avery" mr.teller said "hi" I said "you seem to be doing great at this" he comments "thanks" I said "so I never asked you where your from" he said "Ontario" I said "wow missing your maple syrup" he joked but it was really stupid I just didn't say anything he laughs dryly.
Second period...
"Hey" gabby said walking beside me "hey how was first period" I asked "ew don't remind me" she jokes rolling her eyes playfully causing me to laugh "yea tell me about it mr.teller made a dry joke today" I said "oh what a tragedy" she jokes we both laugh and take a seat.
"So lunch plans?" She asks "none" i laugh "why don't we go out for lunch together?" She asks "uh I don't know don't you have other people interested" i say because I don't want to ruin anything "noo c'mon it will be fun it could just be the two of us" she offers "yea that sounds nice" I said "okay great I'm looking forward to it " she says "same" I said and smiled.
Gabby is so so nice and funny and I really want to be friends with her. But I'm not sure if she really likes me or is just trying to be kind.
Lunch...
"Ok lets go" she says "yep" I said. "Hey gabby lunch?" A boy asks "sorry I'm already going with someone" she says which makes me feel guilty. "Gabby it's ok I really shouldn't" I said "non sense no ones mad I go with them all the time I want to go with you" she said which makes me smile she's so kind "Thanks" I said she smiles back.
We go to a little cafe it's cute and has some snacks. "So I'm having a little get together at my house tonight with a few friends and I was wondering if you would want to come" she asks which surprises me "uh that's really nice it's just I've got hockey" I said "oh I didn't know you played that's cool" she said "thanks but maybe I can come after If that be okay with you" I said "yea that would be so great but you honestly don't have to if you don't want to" she says "no I really want to come" I said "yea that be so good and you could even sleepover if you would like" she said "ok honestly that's the nicest thing someone's ever said to me in a while and I would love to" I said "great" she said.
Third period...
I was walking to my class with my iced coffee . "Miss Jones coffee at the back please" mrs. Farr said "but this is my fuel and energy" I joke and a few people laugh and agree "I'm sorry a rules a rule" she said so I turn and do as instructed and roll my eyes on the way.
I sit down and get to work
When the bell rang I left my class and a boy tapped me one the shoulder (Grayson) "hey you forgot your fuel and energy" he jokes "oh my god thank you" I say.
End of the school day...
I meet my sisters and we walk as always. "So any plans" I asked the twins "yea actually where going to Cameron's tonight you?" Megan says "cool I'm hanging out with a few friends" I said "Oo any boys" Tori asks raising her eye brows " I don't know one of them is my friend and she's inviting a few other people to hang" I said "sounds cool sis I'm proud of you" meg says patting me on the head and then messing up my hair.
I really think this is a good place for me or at least I hope!
