It makes me greatly uncomfortable when people only change one of the characters gender just because they don't like gay pairings or that character's gender in the pairing, especially if the specific character is normally seen as the sub/uke in the relationship. It offends me and I wish people would stop doing that. I can understand if you have homophobic family members who see your stuff but otherwise it feels wrong to mess with the character's gender.
