I wake up, my eyes swollen more than before.

I get up and surprise, surprise, my dad just happens to be here.

I walk down the stairs slowly, dreading going to hear my dad's mouth about my eyes.

"What's wrong sweetie? You eyes, they're swollen!"

See? I told you.

"I just miss it back in Florida."

"This is the best choice right now sweetie. Now go get ready, you have 20 minutes."

"Okay."

I rush back upstairs,do my daily routine and put on something simple. There was no point of dressing cute,nobody wanted me. Well except Chresanto..but you know. I just put my curly hair in a bun and put on a white tank, some red boy shorts, and some red converse. I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs, 15 minutes later.

"I want to walk to school today dad."

"Why?"

"I just want to. You know it's right down the street."

"Whatever you say. Love you."

"Love you too."

I leave out, locking the top lock and head on the sidewalk.

Another surprise.

As I'm walking, scrolling down my Instagram, I see a VERY familiar person.

"Shania! Where's my 100$!"

Damn! I forgot it in the house.

"I'll be right back I forgot it in the h-"

"Hurry your ass up!"

"Okay"

I run fast back to the house, banging on the door.

Jacob was standing right on the sidewalk, waiting with his arms crossed.

My dad opens it.

"Who is that boy?"

"Oh-we-well um he's just my friend. Excuse me dad."

I was obviously lying.

I go in and grab the jar and put it in my backpack and quickly go back out.

"Love you."

"Love you too sweetie." He shuts the door.

Jacob and I start walking and I hand him $100.

He pushes it roughly into his pocket.

I start sprinting, trying to get away.

"Stop running."

I stop, about 10 feet in front of him, still walking pretty fast.

Jacobs POV::

Damn, I didn't think Shania would really have the money, just like that.

She was running so I told her to stop.

She stopped but kept walking pretty fast.

Is she scared of me?

I eventually get to school, go into the building, and see my two bros waiting for me. It's Ray and Craig.

"Sup bro?" I say as I dap each one of them.

"Why ain't you been in class lately, man?" Ray asked me.
