Gohan's incredible dilemma

prologue

The laughter of a young teenage boy drifted over the heavily forested area of Mt Paozu Gohan son of the legendary Son Goku flew at speeds so fast the trees below him became nothing but green blurs today was a special day because his mother had finally given him a break form his studies this had given him some free time to go and get some fresh air and not just that bulma had also called him over for a visit since she was testing out a new invention and she wanted him to be the first to see it 

It had been 3 years since the defeat of the evil android known as cell and 3 years since Goku had made the ultimate sacrifice to save the planet for the newest threat only for the bio android to regenerate and come back more powerful and terrible than ever and so Gohan had taken it upon himself to take his fathers place and destroyed the ultimate android in one final Kamehameha duel peace had returned and with no more aliens or androids threating to blow up the planet the Gohan was finally free to do his studies like his mother wanted

The now thirteen year old flew at a high altitude were most aircrafts cruised at he grinned his fathers grin before cutting his chi making him go into a freefall he did a few flips and tricks before he went into a nose dive his face lit up as he saw the clouds rushing up at him he cut his freefall as a bright blue aura surrounded him making him go even faster he streaked down into the airborne pocket of watervapor making the cloud sprout a tentacle as it was cut in half thanks to his aura the boy himself flew out of the tentacle at speeds approaching Mach 1 he flew straight into the undergrowth grabbing a branch using his momentum he swung his feet upward allowing him jump to another right when his feet touched it he jumped on to another one that's when he started hopping and swinging form branch to branch like Tarzan only much faster thanks to his saiyan speed and agility right before he came to the end of the tree line he jumped up and grabbed a branch before swinging himself in a circle a couple of times and flung himself through the tree tops and high up in the sky before he stopped him self and activated his aura again and flew off in another direction 

Bulma was in her private lab a Capsule Corp where she performed all types of dangerous experiments she didn't even let Vegeta in here not that the prideful saiyan prince would bother to take a break form his rigorous training sessions to come and visit, she was expecting Gohan to come and visit but she knew he might be a while since Chichi made sure that he always kept his nose shoved in the books and because of this Gohans power got weaker because of his lack of training both her and Vegeta knew since according to him saiyans have to train constantly to keep their power levels up

"Ms Briefs theirs a son gohan here to see you"said a womans voice from the intercom next to her desk

"thank you send him to lab 66B"

"yes ma'am"the intercom clicked off as bulma clicked the keys on her computer to make sure that everything was ready when it was time to activate it everything seemed okay so far all except for one tiny peace that looked out of place before she could see what it was a hiss came from behind her, she turned around a warm grin formed on her face when she saw who it was 

"hey Gohan!"

"hey Bulma!"the black haired teen strode into the room wearing long sleeved white t-shirt and blue jeans he looked surprisingly normal compared to his father and Vegeta who wore and gi and battle armor 24 hours a day the blue haired beauty suspected that his mother had something to do with this Chichi was a good girl and her bestfriend but she really needed to back off a little bit and let Gohan breath 

"is this it?"asked Gohan as he looked at the giant ring sized machine in the middle of the room the ring size reached almost to the walls and ceiling of the room, it was steel gray with squares that had a set of blue gems inside them all around the machine there were large thick black cables coming out the back of it that looked like they were attached to about 30 different giant outlets

"yeap this baby holds the power to open a doorway to other dimensions it still a little unstable but after 3 years of mining and collecting those gems"she pointed at the glowing blue rocks"it should stabilize when it activates"

The half saiyan nodded in understanding"have tried sending anything through yet?"

"no not yet I've just been trying to make sure that everything is running smoothly with it until now, wanna see it work?"

"sure!"said Gohan excited to see this new machine in action

"hang on a second"said bulma as she went over to the console that controlled the whole operation 

The saiyan youth stood at the base of the machine looking it over before he walked over to one of the gems as he examined it he couldn't help but wonder just were the heck bulma got them from before he could reach out to touch it a deep whine suddenly escalated up the machine as thin line of energy started to run up the machine he turned to see bulma hard at work typing on her keyboard and flipping switches and turning dials and pressing buttons the gems suddenly glowed brighter and brighter until lighting shot across each gem and raced through the canals until a bright blue ring of pure energy appeared in the center of the ring the half saiyan looked on in awe before he noticed that one of the started growing brighter than the last and then the lab started blinking red"warning power malfunction energy levels at 1,000 percent max high rate of danger"as bulma typed on her computer in order to shut it down 

"its not working Gohan as much as I hate to say I need you to blow up on of the gems because shutting it down through the computer isn't working 

Gohan nodded before aimed his left had at the gem that was glowing the brightest he charged an energy blast in his hand before firing but instead of detonating like he thought it would it just absorbed into it before the young saiyan had time to process what just happed a ball of energy shot out of the crystal hitting the halfbreed in the gut making him slid across the floor knocking him out

"GOHAN!"yelled bulma as she ran to see if he was okay but before she could reach him the wind started to come from the machine sucking in everything in the lab like a black hole bulma held onto a hand bar in the room for dear life as the winds got stronger Gohan however wasn't so luck as he went flying straight into the portal the second he did the machine went critical"warning energy levels cortical self destruct sequence in activated"Bulma had no choice she went to the side of the machine where she saw a big red button and pressed it right after she pressed it the portal shutoff and the cables popped off the back of it and gems suddenly went from blue to black Bulma could only hope that Gohan made it through in one piece she didn't want to have him stuck in between dimensions for eternity 

All was quite in the city know as Metroville people were going about their business weather it was work or stopping to get a bite to eat or just to stop and talk with friends it was a quite and peaceful night that is until the sky started to change and shift until a spinning blue vortex formed the vortex got bigger and bigger until it was the size of a black hole before it started to rapidly shrink out of it came the unconscious body of son gohan as fell to the ground and landed with a thud in the middle of the busy city street causing a few cracks to appear in the ground the young warrior opened his eyes a little before he forced himself to flip over and looked up in the sky just in time to see the vortex disappear into nothingness the last thing he heard was sirens before everything turned black again
