"Ok, ok, settle down." Ricky said as Maddy leaned over and Ricky and her kissed. Once never have I ever got boring they switched it to spin the bottle. Now I'm very apprehensive, and full of anxiety. I don't want to land on Colton and have him remember the kiss, or kiss anyone in the group actually. Soon enough my turn came, before I spun the bottle I finished the rest of my drink. Many cheered that I was downing my drink so fast, but really my nerves were exploding and if I hadn't drank something, I might have vomited from anxiety growing in the pit of my stomach.
I let the bottle spin, and spin, and spin. It came to a slower pace and pointed directly at Bryce.
"The big teddy bear is like a goddamn brother." I whined, but everyone persisted I had to kiss him. No rules were ever established in this game so I leaned over and kissed Bryce's cheek.
"It's good enough for me!" He roared and banged on his stomach, of course we all laughed. Katrina let the bottle spin next and as it slowed, I saw her expression the second it landed on him. Dawson Maitten. He smirked effectively causing her cheeks to burn in the cutest manor and only brightened her face more. She leaned over as he did, and in the center of the poisonous circle, their eyes shut, their lips met, and the emotion evident in the kiss was dancing throughout them.
"Get it Dawson!" Bryce shouted, I laughed as the kiss didn't even flinch or go interrupted.
"Ok, settle down, you're scaring the little kids now." I laughed and they broke apart. They returned to their seats and Katrina's eyes were glazed over, her cheeks still tainted red, and her chest rising and falling almost dramatically, that kiss had taken an effort out of her.
"You're so stupid, must be hit with Cupid." I whispered with a ring into her ear.
"Says the girl who binges on Ed, Ed, and Eddie because as a child she had a crush on one." She smirked with a giggle.
"Don't offend my good taste." I flipped my hair and laughed. The game continued, until it reached Maddy again. This gathering in the living room was dying out, though on the perimeter of the room, outside the doorway a party raged on in uproar. By now I'm sure the girls tops were coming off, and guys guts were spewing out from keg stands.
Parties were almost too predictable. Just like the people that made up the parties. They were predictable, cliche, some pathetic, plastic, divine, and wretched. If their brains were as big as their ego's, shit, we'd have a shit load of Albert Einstein's in the room.
But we don't have Albert Einstein's in the room. This scene was something that gets old, but never tired of. Something about Colton and being paired into this mess made me never know what is next. I've never felt this way before, always planning, being organized, always knowing whats expected next. But now, I had no clue, the possibilities were endless on what this could turn out to be. With my thoughts racing I got up and walked out of the circle we had made.
"I'm done." I had called out as I got up and started walking away. Groans were made, 'c'mons' and even remarks about me being a pussy, when actually the game was getting old. I walked over to the alcohol and poured another drink. The drinks were starting to enhance the crappiness in my eyesight. But no matter, I wanted to be drunk. I started drinking from my cup, and the wall I was leaning against wasn't enough support and I fell on my ass. A laugh ripped through my throat as my ass hit the ground with a thud. But my laughter was not flinching, I just laughed. Colton came towards me with a humorous smirk and lifted me up effortlessly. Too fast.
"That makes my head spin dickhead." I moaned in his arms.
"Few too many for you then my dear." He laughed
"Don't act like you haven't drank tonight." I persisted
"I did, not as much as you. I've been working on my second beer as of now. I control my drinking when I need to carefully, and safely go back home." He said to me slowly as though my attention span was thinning.
