Chapter 14

"ARTHURRRRRRR!!!!!"

Arthur was suddenly on the ground, with, cement under him? He grew confused and stared upwards as his beam deformed. Arthur panted heavily and looked back at Lewis before growling.

"GOT OFF OF ME! SHE NEEDS TO DIE!" Arthur growled and clawed the ground, making his finger nails bleed in anger.

"THATS NOT SHIROMORI! ITS VIVI! LOOK!" Lewis snapped, his form going skeleton as his head lit fire.

Arthur growled and looked over to see, they where in the driveway, and Vivi was shaking in fear, looking at the scene with an unknown feeling. She swore it was dread.

Mystery ran out and ran in front of Vivi, and eyed Arthur and growled dangerously and defensively. Vivi highed onto him and shook.

Arthur looked at them and he panted heavily and realized he almost killed her....he almost killed his only other friend.....

She would have ended up exactly like Lewis. Arthur began to breathe rapidly and he looked at her and then felt everything shift. He winced and his arm flintched. He felt another pang of pain and he shuddered as he fell into a void again.

Lewis watched as his pupils dialated completely, as if he were dead. They didn't seem to respond to any light or thing at all.

"Arthur!?" He gasped, his hand clasped around Arthur's bleeding wrist.

"I can't see!" Arthur cried. "I can't move! I'm back here! It's all black. Lewis....the voice is back...." Arthur spoke quietly.

Mystery trotted to him and licked his wrist, and watched it heal. Mystery huffed at all the magical energy drain he suffered from recently. He then watched him carefully before he completely opened his mouth, and then bit roughly down onto Arthur's head. Arthur screamed in pain and at the pressure, and was snapped back into reality.

"OUCH! MYSTERY!" Arthur panicked and began to freak out, his heart beginning to beat dangerous fast as he trembled, trying to pull the clamped jaws off of his head, but to no avail.

Lewis went flame Lord mode and growled and flew into Arthur, knowing exactly what Mystery was doing. Arthur gasped and whimpered as he shuddered, still in the hold, pulling at the jaws, only to have his arms pinned to the cement driveway. Vivi ran over, but Mystery's remaining tails held down Arthur's legs and held Vivi in place.

"MYSTERY!" Vivi panicked as well. "What are you doing!?" She screamed at him.

Arthur winced as Mystery chomped down again. Arthur felt his heart rate quicken more and he shuddered again, as he felt like he was about to get his head crushed.

Lewis flew into that black void, and lit the place magenta, making Arthur on the outside, stop panicking. Lewis looked at the green shadow like figure.

"YOU!" Lewis snapped loudly. "So, you're the one who is speaking to Arthur what even are you?"

"Something that can't be rid of." The shadow snickered. " Ever heard of schizophrenia? I'm like that, but I'm more real~"

"I don't understand! Explain!" Lewis hissed and walked forwards.

"I'm the manifestation of his loneliness. Because of you. I exsist. I have to tip my head to you. You're the reason Arthur is even like this. You, are the one, who shoved him aside. You stole Vivi from him. You got involved with his life. You casted him aside...and you didn't even ask him once, if he was okay. This is the result of your neglect towards Arthur. You may have been by his side for years, but you were never there for him. You never took into account, how he felt. He didn't know any better, and was there when you guys did things, because when he wasn't, you somehow managed to notice, and you and Vivi both dragged him along, only to completely ignore him, unless he shrieked or flipped out." The green shadow was now inches away from Lewis. "Arthur is losing his mind. Arthur is distancing himself from you all still." He gently lifted Lewis's chin to face him and got only an inch away from his face. "And it's all your fault."

Lewis stared at the thing in pure guilt and regret, as he realized that thing wasn't lying. He really did do those things to Arthur. He saved him from bullies. Became friends with him, and stole Vivi away from him, and didn't even consider that Arthur may have like her sense the two had known each other longer. They had Arthur tag along because he had a van, and he as apart of the group. Vivi was always with Mystery, and he was always talking to Vivi....

So Arthur was left out constantly, and he did this right to his face.

The void started to grow black again, Lewis's eyes widened and hecovered his mouth shaking, tears forming in his eyes as well. He backed away and fell to his knees.

"Oh dear God..." Lewis mumbled. "What have I done?"

"You, killed your best friend Lewis~" The silhouette giggled happily. "And in turn! He killed you! Arthur is dying again! Because with Shiromori on his tail! He didn't tell you about it! And it's all your fault! It ate at him! And it's all your fault! Because you taught him that life worked this way! Now! I'm back in his life! And it's completely your fault!"

"THEN IM GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" Lewis screamed.

"LEWIS DON'T!" Arthur screamed and flintched as Lewis lundged at him.

Lewis gasped and stopped and looked at the frightened man, only for it to morph back into the silhouette, and punch into Lewis's ribs. Lewis gasped and grabbed it's arm, and then flooded it in flames.

"DIE YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Lewis roared.

"You realize. I'm a manifestation of his fears and insecurities right? The moment he becomes overwhelmed with these feelings again! I'll be back inside his head! If you mess up again! Arthur will completely turn insane!" The Silhouette screamed in agony as he was being desintagrated.

Lewis watched as it completely vanished, and everything went white. Lewis e haled, feeling huge waves of the guilt vanish quickly. It seems that thing, was what had completely made him feel bad in the first place. Though, Lewis was thinking about everything, and made a mental note to apologise to Arthur after everything calmed down. Lewis exited his friend, and as he did, Mystery let go of Arthur and Vivi, only to get smacked across the face by Vivi.

"BAD DOG!" She snapped and kneeled down to Arthur, who had passed out the moment the thing within him was killed.

Mystery healed the small bite holes before returning to his puppy form, panting heavily, being completely worn out. Vivi looked at the two now sleeping friends, and she turned to Lewis, who knelt down beside Arthur, stroking his fingers through his hair softly.

"What happened?" Vivi asked softly.

"I hurt him. And I cured him of the damage I caused." Lewis spoke softly and teared up. "I-I do deserve to be dead. I ruined his life..." He mumbled.

"Lewis, hey, you don't seriously think that do you?" She asked with concern..

"I took his friend away from him. I took you away from him. And Mystery, he had no one to talk to. For years, he was sad because I took his friends away from his attention. And we shoved him aside and left him out of so much." Lewis sighed shakily. "I'm never going to do that again."

Vivi sighed and rubbed her distressed ex's back and comforted him silently. "It's in the past now. Let's just improve for the future." She smiled weakly and picked Mystery up. "Carry him to bed. You should rest to."

"Alright." Lewis sighed and picked Arthur up, carrying him inside, holding him close.

Lewis looked down at his boyfriend, and moved his head, and planted a soft kiss on his forehead, as tears still fell from his undead eyes.

"I won't ever hurt you again....I promise..."
