I walked through the corridor to the teacher's lounge, I knocked on the door and asked if I could talk to our homeroom teacher, Mr. Harley.
"Soo what do you want to talk about which couldn't wait until class, Mr. Williams?" Mr. Harley said while he was sipping his cup of coffee. His tie full of small flamingos was very irritating for the eyes.
"Well uhh... It's about Emily. She's not feeling very well and I wondered if she could go home and rest." I said quietly, fully regretting what I said.
"Is that so? Hmm.. Well shouldn't Miss Nourie come and say it for herself?" He asked, sipping loudly.
"Well yes but-.. Oh.. Do you want me to go get her?" I asked, still looking at his irritating tie.
"Well it would be appreciated, yes" He said stroking his tie very proudly.
"I'll go get her..." I said and rushed out of the teacher's lounge and back to the corridor. On my way back I saw Emily sitting with her phone crying. She didn't notice me, I snuck up behind her. She was chatting with someone, I spectated her chat with the person for some seconds until Emily noticed me.
"GAH! Why are you sneaking up on me?!" She yelled and hit my arm.
"Ow! I was just spectating! Sorry!" I yelled back at her and stroke my arm. "Mr. Harley wants you to come in person.."
"What did you do... ?"
"Nothing. Just follow me please"
"Okay..?"We walked up to Mr. Harley while he was getting a second cup of coffee.
Before we entered I had told Emily what I've said to Mr. Harley earlier. He was looking at us with suspicious eyes, Emily exhaled."Mr. Harley..?" Emily asked quietly.
"Ah, Miss Nourie. Soo, Mike told me that you weren't feeling good. What seems to be the problem?" Mr. Harley asked pouring coffee into his cup.
"I have a migraine.. and it's really terrible.." Emily said quivering and looked up at him with sad puppy eyes.
"Well, lets call your parents and inform them that you're going home." Mr. Harley said slightly worried. "Walk out to the corridor while I'll call them".We walked out to the corridor and sat down on one of the benches close to us.
"Thank you.. I know that I rarely talk to you about this stuff. But you're really nice, I appreciate it" Emily said while she looked up at me and smiled.SHE LIKES YOU ABORT ABORT ABORT!!!!!
SHUT UP! Just stay co-
YOU'RE FINALLY GONNA HAVE KIDS WOOOO
STOOOOOP!!!After a while Mr. Harley came out and told us that Emily's mother had told her to go home so she could rest. We exchanged phone numbers in case she needed help, I went to the next class along with Mr. Harley who probably was on his third cup of coffee.
When she got home I received a text from her. She said that her mom told her to stay home from school for some days. I thought it was great, she would be able to calm down and relax. I kept in contact with her during those days, just so she wouldn't do it again. Her friend Ashley was worried and asked everyone where Emily went, but she never asked me, I was slightly relieved. The day went on and Ashley probably spam called Emily a thousand times before I walked up to her personally."Hey.. um.. Emily went home" I said regretting every minute of the future conversation i'd be having with her.
"How do you know?! She was here before class!"
"She told me she had a migraine.. please take it easy"
"Oh.. Okay, thanks."
"You're welcome."
"I still don't like you."
"Ah.."
