The Brothers

Prologue Part 1

John Winchester floated in and out of consciousness. He knew he shouldn't have attacked the vamp nest alone. It was the wee hours of the morning and he was laying on the forest floor. Bleeding out, but not dead.

Suddenly, he heard a woman scream beside him. She ran to him, checking his injuries. She shook him so he was almost completely conscious.

"Sir! It's okay, I'm a nurse! I can get you to the hospital! Can you walk?" He nodded slowly. She helped John up gently so she wouldn't cause anymore bleeding. He looked at his savior. She was very pretty and clearly physically built. She had the body of a hunter.

Soon they were in her car, racing to the local hospital. He passed out a few times but tried to stay awake. He decided the best way to do that was to strike up a conversation with her.

"W-w-what's y-your n-name," he croaked out the sentence so quietly he wasn't sure she heard him. He was about to ask again but she gave him a response.

"My name is Kate Milligan, but save your energy Mr..." He realized he never gave his own name."W-Winchester, J-J-John Winchester..." and with that, he passed out for a final time. Not to wake up for a few days...
