The wedding

The wedding bells rang clear throughout the chapel, warm and welcoming, reflecting the smiles present on those who attended this wonderful evening. As the sun shed its' final glowing light down through the stain glass windows, casting deep hues of purple, blue and red down onto the matrimonial scene, the two shared a loving but tender kiss; sealing the moment, as two rings glinted on fingers interlocked in blissful happiness. Gary smiled down at Ash, the faintest of blushes coating his cheeks as he gazed into his lover's eyes which shone in the lingering warmth of the sun. Ash grinned up at Gary, eyes sparkling, cheeks widening as his smile did. "Finally" he thought. Both had waited a long time for this moment, standing by the other's side for what seemed to be an eternity before Gary had kneeled down in front of Ash, as the moon rose high into the sky, the ring reflecting the shimmers of the lake where the two would often meet. Though now, as they stared into the other's love filled eyes, it became apparent that the wait was more than worthwhile. Able to feel the other's hand tightly clasped in their own, the feeling of metal from the other's ring against their skin, the moment truly felt complete. It was as though they were entranced, unable to look away from eyes pooling with love. Though, like all good things, something broke the moment. As the two stood there, gazing into each other's eyes, a grunt sounded. Though it was not much, it was still enough to break the two from their little world. Gary turned to face the Vicar, who once more let out a soft grunt. Bringing a hand up to his face, the vicar coughed loudly, while his other hand fanned his face. Though it had been a hot day in Kanto, the sun was now setting taking with it the warmth it carried. The chapel itself was growing cold, so the way the vicar fanned himself made little sense.

The vicar then grasped at his own face, pulling almost frantically at his wrinkles, until, with a horrific grunt, he peeled his face back to reveal a face they knew all too well. "Red?!" Ash exclaimed, his hand still locked in his newly wedded husband's. A hearty smile spreading across his cheeks. "It's good to see you again! What were you doing in there?? And why do you look so tanned?" He laughed, paying no heed to his lover's obvious metaphorical heart attack, Gary, and rightly so, was a bit surprised - and slightly horrified - to witness the vicar's face peel back to reveal that of his friend's. Behind them, someone arose from their seat, walking quietly over to the lovers, a large grin present on his face. "Hey Gary, Ash, it's good to see you two!" Green spoke from behind, his ring glinting in the light from his ring-finger as he held his hand up in a pleasant greeting. "Green!" Both Ash and Gary spoke, more than happy to see their friends again after so long, Gary was relieved that the flower girl hadn't turned out to be Green in disguise. "Now that the main ceremony is over..." Green began, "Let's party!!" Red grinned, much to everyone's surprise. The rest of the night was filled with laughing, drinking and inappropriate dance moves, the last; courtesy of two incredibly drunk couples, who had staggered out onto the dance floor during "living la vida loca" and had stayed 'till "the dancing queen". Which many of the parents invited were not too happy about.
